INVITATION FOR TENDER FOR THE EXECUTION OF PROJECTS
The Borno State Government through the Borno State Universal Basic Education in compliance with the Public Procurement Act 2007 is inviting reputable and competent contractors to submit tender for UBEC/SUBEB/1st-4th Quarters 2021 Projects. The projects are for the following categories:
1. CONSTRUCTION WORKS
(a) Lot 1: Construction of a block of 15 – classrooms storey building
(b) Lot 2: Construction of a block of 8 – classrooms storey building with offices and toilets
(c) Lot 3: Construction of a block of 6 – classrooms storey building with offices and toilets
(d) Lot 4: Construction of a block of 2-classrooms with offices and toilets
(e) Lot 5: Remodeling/Rehabilitation of classrooms with offices, store and toilets
(f) Lot 6: Rehabilitation of perimeter block wall fencing
(g) Lot 7: Rehabilitation of a block of laboratory
(h) Lot 8: Rehabilitation of existing boreholes
2. SUPPLY OF FURNITURE
Lot 8: Fabrication and supply of pupils’ furniture/teachers’ tables and chairs
3. WATER, SANITATION AND SPORTING FACILITIES
Lot 9: Drilling of a solar powered boreholes with steel tower and overhead tank
Lot 10: Rehabilitation of existing boreholes
Lot 11: Supply of WASH facilities, face mask and hand sanitizers for prevention of COVID-19
Lot 12: Supply of sporting kits and equipment
PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
1. Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
2. Evidence of registration with Borno SUBEB as contractor
3. Reliable list of similar work executed, contract award letter or photocopy of certificate of project completion
4. Tax clearance for the last 3 years
5. Evidence of VAT registration/remittance
6. List of Corporate Management and Technical Staff
7. Audited Financial Report and Account for the last 3 years
8. National Pension Commission Clearance Certificate
9. Affidavit of compliance with Public Procurement Law 2019
10. Sworn Affidavit that the company is not in receivership
11. Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund Clearance Certificate
COLLECTION OF TENDER
Tenders are to be deposited in the Tender documents from the Desk Officer UBEC Projects from 20th – 27th June, 2022 upon payment of appropriate administrative charges and non-refundable tender fees.
SUBMISSION OF TENDER
Tenders are to be deposited in the Tender Box at the Conference Hall of the Board Headquarters from Monday 27th June, 2022 between 08:00am to 04:00pm and closed at 12:00 noon on 4th July, 2022.
NOTE:
List of pre-qualified bidders will be placed on the Notice Board of the Borno SUBEB Headquarters. Tenders submitted to Borno SUBEB after the deadline will be returned unopened. Borno SUBEB will not be liable for improper submission or unregistered tenders. Any tender that does not comply with the above requirements or any form of deviation from the requirements will be rejected.
