INVITATION TO TENDER FOR PROJECTS EXECUTION
OVERVIEW
Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Block 6 State Secretariat Complex, Owerri- Port Harcourt Road.
TENDER NOTICE
Notice is hereby given by Imo State Government to suitable Contractors to submit tender for the following projects.
PROJECT TITLE
(1) Rehabilitation/Dualization of Owerri – Mbaise, Umuahia road (46km)
(2) Design and Construction of Interchange Bridges (Flyovers) at Assumpta Roundabout
TENDER DOCUMENTS
Tender Documents including unpriced Bill(s) of Engineering Measurement and Evaluation (BEME) which are obtainable from Director, Civil Department, Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, on payment of non-refundable tender fees payable to Imo State TSA Account as may be indicated on the notice board of the Ministry.
PREREQUISITES FOR TENDER
(a) Contractors submitting Tenders must be duly registered with the Imo State Contractors Registration Board of the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure Owerri.
(b) A copy of the receipts in respect of the non- refundable Tender fee.
(c) Evidence of Company’s (functioning) office in Imo State.
(d) Evidence of registration with Imo State contractors Registration Board
(e) Copy of Company’s Income Tax Clearance certificate.
(f) The certificate of Incorporation of the Company
(g) The Company’s profile indicating the list and resume of Management and Key Professional staff, partners, equipment, working experience and any other relevant information that may enhance the favourable consideration of the tenders.
(h) List and Verifiable evidence of Project(s) successfully executed in relevant sectors.
(i) Evidence of financial capability (reference letter issued by reputable Bank and verifiable statement of Bank Account).
(j) Value added Tax (VAT) registration Certificate.
(k) Tax Clearance certificate.
(l) Audited Account for the last three years.
SITE INSPECTION
All tenderers are advised to visit the site for the purpose of inspection and reasonable pricing of the Bill(s) of Engineering Measurement and Evaluation (BEME).
SUBMISSION OF TENDERS
(a) All tenders should be submitted to the Department of Planning, Research and Statistic and Ministry of Works and Infrastructure later than 10am of 17 June, 2022 and opening ceremony comes up by 12.00 noon same day.
(b) All tenders should be submitted in a seal envelop marked “THE PROJECT OF OUR CHOICE” clearly indicated on the top left corner of the envelope and addressed
THE HONOURABLE COMMISSIONER,
MINISTRY OF WORK AND INFRASTRUCTURE,
IMO STATE.
Tenderers should not indicate the name of their companies at the back of the envelope in any manner whatsoever.
ACCEPTANCE OF TENDERS
All tenders accompanied with relevant documents and attachments contained in the notice must be submitted in the manner.
