GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE (GPN) FOR 2022 CAPITAL AND RECURRENT PROJECTS
PUBLIC NOTICE NO.: 4154
INTRODUCTION
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) intends to undertake the procurement of various projects under its 2022 Capital and Recurrent Budget.
In compliance with the provisions of Public Procurement Act, 2007, the Authority wishes to inform all competent contractors, suppliers, and consultants with relevant experience that the following projects will be advertised in this procurement year:
WORKS S/N Project Description 1 Repairs & Maintenance of Office Buildings, Roads & Sidings, Vessels & Crafts, Plants, Motor Vehicles, Fire Engines, Generators, Port Lightings, office furniture, equipment, fixtures, fittings, computer hardware, communication networks. 2 Removal of sea weeds, wastes and floating debris along water channels. 3 Fencing of Ports and other NPA Lands. 4 Provision of Infrastructure and Access Road at Snake Island including Consultancy. 5 1.5KM Atlas Cement Road at F0T including Lighting and Drainages 6 Design and Construction of Control tower for Onne Port Complex. 7 Hydrographic Surveys, Geotechnical and Wreck Survey, establishment of common user marine structures, simulation and Chart scheming for Lekki Port Area 8 Rehabilitation of Ikorodu Lighter Terminal Construction including Consultancy 9 Rehabilitation of 500T Graving Dock at Calabar Port. 10 Water Reticulation Network at Port Locations. 11 Rehabilitation of NPA Transit Lodge 1 & II at FLT and FOT 12 Rehabilitation of NPA Superannuation Fund Houses at 214 Road, Trans-Amadi, Port- Harcourt (Flat 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18 & 20) 13 Provision of Access Road at Port Land Extension, Calabar 14 Construction and installation of 11/0.415KV panels with Vacuum Breakers at Sub-station 6 & 7, Rivers Port, PH. 15 Testing of Mooring Bollards at all port locations 16 Rehabilitation of Millero Jetty, Calabar 17 Renovation of Administrative Building at Port Locations (HQ, Warn, W/Zone, Maritime House Buildings). 18 General Renovation of Basket House & Alraine Office Building at Rivers Port. 19 Rehabilitation of Berth 2 Jetty, FLT, Onne 20 Rehabilitation of Access Roads to the ports and internal roads network within the ports. 21 Conversion of Building at Dockyard to School Accommodation and clinic. 22 Rehabilitation of Tin Can Island Quay wall and Apron. 23 Construction of collapsed quay wall at Dockyard in Calabar Port. 24 Proposed Concrete pavement/drainage of access road to existing depot at NPA, Calabar. 25 Construction of Collapsed quay wall at Dockyard in Calabar Port 26 Rehabilitation of common user road linking Apapa Dockyard and Lilypond including construction of drainages 27 Rehabilitation of Quay Aprons and walls in all ports 28 Construction and Installation of 11/0.415 KVA panel with vacuum breakers and replacement of faulty underground cable in Sub-station 2,4 and 5, Rivers Port, PH. 29 Upgrade of port lighting and Electrical ring network at all Ports. 30 Complete Replacement of Obsolete 11KV Panels at Sub-Station 1,4 & 5, Calabar 31 Condition Survey (under/above water) of steel concrete pile bulkheads of wharves for all ports 32 Rehabilitation of Mciver Jetty, Calabar 33 Drydocking and Machinery Overhaul of Tugboats, Pilot Cutters, Mooring Boats, and other Crafts. 34 Resuscitation of Electric Fire Alarm Systems 35 Corrosion control and protection of the steel/concrete pile bulkheads of wharves in all ports.

Within the year 2022 and from time to time, the Specific Procurement Notices for these projects will be advertised on the Authority’s Notice Board and website, National Dailies, Federal Tenders Journal and International Magazine (where applicable).
- Interested and eligible bidders who wish to participate in the bidding process are advised to be on the lookout for the subsequent Advertisements.
- All documents on responsive criteria such as compliance with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate, Current Pension Clearance Certificate from PENCOM, Evidence of Compliance Certificate with Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) may be referred to Corporate Affairs Commission, Federal Inland Revenue Service, National Pension Commission, Industrial Training Fund and other relevant bodies for verification.
- The Authority also reserves the right to invoke Section 28 of the Public Procurement Act 2007 without incurring any liability to the bidder.
