INVITATION FOR TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY OF STUDENT LABORATORY EQUIPMENT
(1.0) INTRODUCTION
Yaba College of Technology in compliance with the Public Procurement Act 2007 hereby invites competent and reputable Contractor for Pre-qualification and subsequent tendering for supply of Student Laboratory Equipment under the following categories
(2.0) SCOPE OF WORK
Lot 1 Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Equipment for(i) Department of Civil Engineering and(ii) Department of Electrical Electronic Engineering Lot 2 Supply, Installation, Testing arid Commissioning of Equipment for(i) Department of Mechanical Engineering Lot 3 Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Equipment for(i) Department of Mineral and Petroleum Engineering Lot 4 Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Equipment for(i) Department of Marine Engineering Lot 5 Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Equipment for(i) Department of Chemical Engineering
(3.0) PRE-QUALIFICATION/TENDERING CRITERIA
The following will prequalify Companies to tender.
(i) Proven capability, relevant experience and good track record.
(ii) Provision of Company profile and organizational structure, including names, resumes, and telephone numbers of key personnel.
(iii) Provision of Verifiable list of previous similar works successfully executed within the past three (3) years with names of clients, evidence of award, project cost and Certificate of practical completion
(iv) Evidence of Incorporation of Company by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
(v) Current Company Tax Clearance Certificates for the last three (3) years
(vi) Equipment and Technology capacity – Evidence of contact with manufacturers (if any) in the area of supplies of Equipment
(vii) VAT Registration and evidence of past VAT remittances
(viii) Current Audited Annual financial report of the company for the last three (3) years.
(ix) Evidence of financial strength, credit worthiness/Bank reference and readiness to instruct bankers to supply financial information on the company as may be required.
(x) Evidence of community and social responsibility (if any).
(xi) Evidence of compliance with the provision of the Pension Reform Act, 2004
(xii) Evidence of compliance with Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Amendment Act, 2011
(xiii) Evidence of Registration with the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) on the National Data Base of Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers, by submission of Interim Registration report (IRR).
(xiv) Evidence of compliance with the National Social Industrial Trust Fund (NSITF)
(xv) A sworn affidavit indicating that all documents submitted are genuine and verifiable
(xvi) A sworn affidavit that none of the Directors has been convicted in any country for any criminal offence, including fraud or financial impropriety.
(4.0) SUBMISSION OF PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS
Bound pre-qualification documents in wax-sealed envelope marked “Pre-qualification and Financial Bid as Contractor /Supplier (as the case may be) at the top left hand corner should be submitted into the Tender Box at the Administrative Building of the College not later than 11am on Friday August 5, 2022 and addressed as shown below:

(5.0) OPENING OF THE TENDER DOCUMENTS
The Tender Document would be opened at 12noon on Friday, August 5, 2022, and representative of companies that submitted bids are hereby invited to witness the opening.
(6.0) COLLECTION OF TENDER
The Tenderer should note that they are required to pay a non-refundable tender processing fee of ten thousand naira only (N10, 000.00) for each LOTS.
Tender documents will be available for collection at the Procurement Unit, of the College on or before 4.00 pm. August 4, 2022 after presentation of evidence of payment of the processing fee.

(a) That by the submission of Tender documents, Yaba College of Technology is neither committed nor obliged to award any contract to any company or its agent
(b) That this advertisement for invitation to Tender shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of College, nor shall entitle any company to make any claims whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from Yaba College of Technology
(c) That due diligence would be followed as all the documents submitted would be verified and the past executed works and contractor’s offices shall he visited Any discrepancies found would disqualify the contractor
