1. The Federal Republic of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Kaduna State Adolescent Girls’ Initiative for Learning and Empowerment Project (KADAGILE) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Procurement of Information and Communication Devices (25 No. Laptops, 1 No. Projector, 1 No. Projector Screen, and 1 No. Large Fireproof Safe) per school for 50 No. Senior Secondary Schools for Digital Literacy Training) for Phase 1.

2. The Kaduna State Ministry of Education through the office of the Project Coordinator Kaduna AGILE now invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of the following:

Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”) available on www.worldbank.org/procure and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the office of the Kaduna State Adolescent Girls’ Initiative for Learning & Empowerment Project, (KADAGILE) and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (local time) at the address given below.

5. Qualifications required include:
i. Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
ii. Evidence of current registration with Kaduna State Public Procurement Authority (KADPPA)
iii. Evidence of previous supply of similar equipment for the past five (5) years.
iv. Audited financial statements for the last three (3) years to demonstrate financial capability of the Bidder.
v. Evidence of registration with professional organizations/license to sell ICT/Computers in Nigeria.
vi. Certificate of Manufacturers’ Authorization
vii. Evidence of after-sales services in Nigeria Margin of preference shall not be allowed.

Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below upon a payment of a non-refundable fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000.00) only in a Bank Draft in favor of Kaduna State Adolescent Girls’ Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) Project. The bidding documents could be collected at the address below on presentation of proof of payment. At the request of the bidder, the documents could also be sent by courier after payment of an additional fee to cover the cost of delivery.

7. Bids must be delivered to the address in paragraph 9 below on or before Thursday, 8th September 2022, 12:00 pm (local time). Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below at 12.00 noon on the 8th of September 2022. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of at least 2.5% of Bid Price.

8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
