REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE SUPPLY OF ESSENTIAL MEDICINES FROM QUALIFIED NIGERIAN PHARMACEUTICAL MANUFACTURERS /DISTRIBUTORS
(1) BACKGROUND
The Bauchi State Drugs and Medical Consumables Management Agency (DMMA) with the support of the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Management project, is soliciting expression of interest from technically and financially viable companies for the supply of essential medicines to enhance a Sustainable Drug Supply in the state through the platform of the Drug Revolving Fund (DRF) scheme. Interested and qualified pharmaceutical manufacturers/International manufacturers exclusive authorized distributors shall be expected to show technical capacity to provide manufactured and or imported essential medicines in accordance with NAFDAC quality standards requirements.
The Bauchi State DMMA shall contact ONLY companies capable of offering essential medicines to the specified quality standards in acceptable facilities as advertised and ONLY those companies shall be notified in writing for facility assessment visit. Thereafter, if found to meet quality standards will be added to our list of pre-qualified vendors and will be subsequently invited to participate in the tendering process. Interested manufacturers/International manufacturers exclusive distributors/Importers are also required to deliver the products at the requested place, that is, the incoterm is delivery at place (DAP).
Interested companies are invited to attend a pre-EOI conference at Shoregate hotels, #29 Joel Ogunnaike Street-Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria on the 29 September 2022 at 10.00am. This will afford interested vendors the opportunity for clarification on issues related to this EOI. If there is need for additional information, we will endeavor to provide expeditiously, however, any delay in providing such information will not be considered a reason to extend the submission date of your proposal.
Please, note that the Bauchi State DMMA reserves the right to accept or reject an application without providing any reason thereof. Only prequalified vendors/service providers would be invited to participate in the invitation to Bid and/or for Price quote. Any unsolicitedattempt to influence Bauchi DMMA internal selection process in favour of aparticular vendor will result in immediate disqualification.

If you submit an EOI but do not receive a response from us after 1 (one) week of the closing date, then it means your EOI has been unsuccessful and your application will not be advanced to the next stage of the procurement process.
The closing date to return the duly completed expression of interest form is 13 October, 2022. Request for clarifications will only be responded to on or before 4 October, 2022, at 5:30p.m. The EOI must be emailed to baubbox123@gmail.com. Expressions of Interest will not be opened publicly.
Nothing in the EOI should be taken to form a legal contract This is not an invitation to tender. The potentials subsequent procurement process will be governed by the law establishing the Bauchi State Public Procurement Bureau, 2020 (Bauchi State of Nigeria Gazette No. 6, Vol. 6).
