REQUEST FOR BIDS FOR THE PROVISION OF 150 NO. ROUTERS AND INTERNET CONNECTIVITY OF 1 TERABYTE PER MONTH FOR 12 MONTHS TO SUPPORT DIGITAL LITERACY TRAINING ACROSS 50 NO. SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN PHASE 1

1. The Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of Kaduna State Adolescent Girls’ Initiative for Learning and Empowerment Project (AGILE), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for Provision of 150 No. Routers and internet connectivity of 1 Terabyte per Month for 12 months to support Digital literacy training across 50 No. Senior Secondary Schools in Phase 1.

2. The Kaduna State Adolescent Girls’ Initiative for Learning and Empowerment Project (AGILE) now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Procurement of the following:

Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”) available on www.worldbank.org/procure and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4. Interested and eligible bidders may obtain further information from The State Project Coordinator, Kaduna State AGILE Project and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below, between the hours of 9.00 am to 4.00pm Mondays to Fridays, except on public holidays.

5. Qualifications requirements include:
i. Evidence of similar service offered for the past five (5) years,
ii. Audited financial statements for the last three (3) years, to demonstrate the financial capability of the Bidder in terms of Profitability and adequate working capital,
iii. Registration with Professional organizations Company Registration with CAC,
iv. Current Registration with Kaduna State Public Procurement Authority
v. Current registration with Ministry of Business Innovations and Technology Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.

6. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of N15,000.00 (Fifteen Thousand Naira only). The method of payment will be Cash or Bank Draft in favour of Kaduna State AGILE Project. The Bidding Documents will be collected by the representative of the Bidder or by courier services on request which shall be at the bidder’s cost.

7. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 12:00 noon local time on November 9, 2022. Electronic bide submission will not be accepted; Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend in person at the address below at 12:00 noon local time on November 9, 2022. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of at least 2.5% of bid price in local currency or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
