INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION AND TENDER FOR THE EXECUTION OF YEAR 2022 TETFUND SPECIAL INTERVENTION FOR DESIGNATED PROJECTS 2022V/SX509
INTRODUCTION:
The Management of College of Education Warri, Delta State intends to execute the following Project under the year 2022 tetfund special intervention for designated projects 2022V/SX509. Consequently, interested, competent and qualified contractors are invited to submit Technical and Financial bids for the project.
THE PROJECT:
- Construction and furnishing of classrooms and offices with 2NR suspended floor.
PREQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
(i) Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
(ii) Company Tax Clearance Certificate for the last (3) years.
(iii) Value Added Tax/Evidence of Tax Remittance
(iv) Company Profile showing details of accomplished projects with evidence(s), List of Staff, Equipment and registered membership certificates.
(v) Bank Reference Letter
(vi) List of similar and verifiable projects successfully executed by the company (at least 2) with locations. Letter of award within the past three years.
(vii) ITF Certificate expiring December 31st 2022.
(viii) PENCOM Certificate expiring December 31st 2022.
(ix) NSITF Certificate expiring December 31st 2022.
(x) BPP Certificate expiring December 31st 2022.
(xi) Sworn affidavit.
(xii) Audited account for the past three (3) years, and duly stamped by a licensed Auditor.
COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Tender documents are to be collected from the office of the Registrar between 10:00am to 3.00pm on working days.
SUBMISSION PROCEDURE
Interested bidders are to submit tender documents in two (2) separate envelopes appropriately marked “Technical Bid” and “Financial Bid”. The two envelopes shall be enclosed in one larger envelope and marked “TENDER DOCUMENTS” stating the particular PROJECT at the top of the envelope and addressed to:
The Registrar,
College of Education,
Warri, Delta State.
The closing date for submission is November 18, 2022 by 12Noon.
OPENING OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Tender bids shall be opened same day by 12noon in the College chambers. All bidders are hereby invited to attend the bid opening.
PLEASE NOTE:
(1) The participation in the bid does not guarantee any person the right to be selected or given any job
(2) That by the submission of prequalification documents, the College is neither committed nor obliged to award the lowest bidder any contract as the final approval to be given by Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) the sponsors of this project.
(3) That this advertisement for invitation to prequalification/bid shall not be misconstrued as a commitment on the part of the College, nor shall entitle any Contractor/Firm to make any claims whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from the College.
(4) That the College reserves the right to reject any or all expression of Interest and to terminate the selection process at any time without any liability to the school.
(5) Any bid submitted after the closing date shall not be considered.
