DEADLINE: 24TH NOVEMBER, 2022
NATIONAL AUTOMOTIVE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (NADDC)
(FORMER NATIONAL AUTOMOTIVE COUNCIL & CENTRE FOR AUTOMOTIVE DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT)
FEDERAL MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY, TRADE AND INVESTMENT
INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR SPECIALIZED MECHATRONIC AND HEAVY DUTY VEHICLES TRAINING
(1.0) INTRODUCTION
One of the key drivers of the Nigerian Automotive Industry Development Plan (NAIDP) of NADDC is skills development of Nigerian Artisans/Craftsmen, Mechanics and Technicians on how to carry out maintenance and repairs of new generation vehicles that are powered by electromechanical devices (Mechatronics). The diagnosis of new generation vehicles is usually through outbound diagnosis using diagnostic tools and equipment, which detect the faults in vehicles, and eliminates try and error method of faults finding. In order to bridge the skills gap, NADDC intends to train Nigerian Youths in the use of modern diagnostic equipment and tools for repairs and maintenance of new generation vehicles that are powered by a combination of electromechanical devices. Accordingly, the NADDC has been carrying out annual Specialised Mechatronics and Heavy Duty Vehicles including Agric Tractors Trainings.
