INVITATION FOR TECHNICAL BID FOR 2022 APPROVED CAPITAL PROJECTS
(1.0) INTRODUCTION:
In compliance with the requirements of the Kaduna State Public Procurement Law 2016, the Zaria Local Government Council is desirous to undertake the execution of Capital Projects under 2022 Approved Budget. The Local Government Council Invites Reputable, Interested and Competent Companies to submit Technical Bid (or the following projects:

(2.0) SCOPE OF WORKS
As detailed in the Bidding documents to be issued
(3.0) BID REQUIREMENTS
Interested corporate and/or individual firms should submit the following but not limited:
(i) Certificate of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission
(ii) Certified True Copy of Memorandum and Article of Association
(iii) Evidence of Provision of Form CO2 and Form CO7
(iv) Evidence of Payment of Registration with Zaria Local Government Public Procurement Committee
(v) Evidence of Current Registration of Business premises with Kaduna State Ministry of Commerce & Industry (If applicable)
(vi) Evidence of Registration with the Kaduna State Public Procurement Authority (KADPPA).
(vii) Evidence of Current Certificate of Compliance with the National Pension Commission.
(viii) Evidence of Current Certificate of Compliance with the Industrial Training Fund ITF.
(ix) Verifiable Evidence of Financial Capability/Banking Support not less than the cost of the project(s)
(x) Company Audited Account for 2019, 2020 and 2021.
(xi) Evidence of Current Tax Clearance Certificates for 2019, 2020 and 2021.
(xii) Evidence of VAT Registration/Past VAT Remittance Receipts.
(xiii) Evidence of similar jobs executed in the last 1 year (Attached copies of Award letters and Practical Completion Certificate).
(xiv) Evidence of Bid form and qualification which includes among others Technical Key Personnel with their qualification and professional registration with professional bodies.
(xv) Evidence of Equipment available for the work with evidence of ownership or lease.
(xvi) Evidence of Power of Attorney of the Signatories to toe Bid
(xii) Evidence of Authority to seek reference from bidders bankers
(4.0) OTHER REQUIREMENT
(i) A Sworn Affidavit that no Partner/Director has been Convicted in any Country for Criminal Offences Related to Fraudulent, Corrupt Practices, Criminal Misrepresentation or Falsification of facts relating to any matter and that all the Required Documents are both GENUINE AND UP TO DATE
(ii) A Sworn Affidavit Disclosing Whether or not any Officer of Zaria Local Government is a Former or Present Director, Shareholder or has any Pecuniary Interest in the Bidder and Confirm all Information Presented in its Bid are True and Correct in all Material Particulars
(iii) Current litigation with the company
(iv) Any other information that would be relevant
(5.0) SUBMISSION OF BID DOCUMENTS
Interested bidders can submit their Technical Bidding Documents for all the lot(s) at Zaria Local Government Secretariat
(i) The Documents should be enclosed in sealed tampered-proof envelope indicating the lot(s) at the top right hand corner of the envelope and addressed to:
The Secretary to the Local Government,
Zaria Local Government Council,
Alhaji Turaki Ali Secretariat,
Kofar Fada, P.M.B 1038,
Zaria City,
Kaduna State.
(ii) The Documents shall be deposited in the tenders box in the Local Government Secretariat The name of the company should be written at reverse side of the envelope.
(iii) Closing date and time of all submission is 12:00pm on 31 October, 2022.
Note: Late submission will not be entertained
(6.0) BIDS OPENING
Opening of received documents will commence at 1:00pm on 31 October, 2022 at the Madaki Aliyu Shehu Idris Council Chamber of the Local Government. All bidders and or their Representatives, relevant Professional bodies and NGOs are invited to witness the opening exercise accordingly.
(7.0) PLEASE NOTE THAT:
(i) All certificates may be referred to the agencies/bodies for verification.
(ii) Only successful technical bidders will be invited in the next stage of bidding process.
(iii) The Zaria Local Government Council reserves the right to reject any or all the submissions that do not meet the requirements.
