INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION AND BIDDING FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS
The Borno State Government through State Universal Basic Education Board in compliance with Public Procurement acts 2007 and Borno State Bureau on Public Procurement Law 2019, wish to invites, interested, reputable and competent contractors to submit tender for UBEC/SUBEB/BESDA SUSTAINABILITY 2022/2023 projects. The projects are for the following Lots:
Lot 1: Procurement of 3 in 1 mats 2,309 for Almajiri Centres across the State
Lot 2: Procurement of 106,000 Textbooks for Basic science, Civil Education, English and Mathematics
Lot 3: Procurement of 2,309 of maker for white board, 2,309 Admission Registers, 6927 Attendance Register and clearing and fumigation of 518 BESDA Schools
Lot 4: Procurement of 2,827 customized exercise books for BESDA Schools and Tsagaya Centre’s across the State
Lot 5: Procurement of 2,309 pencils for BESDA Schools, 2,309 pencils for Tsagaya Centre’s and procurement of 2,000 Dignity kits for Buhari Academy Girls School Lot6: Procurement of Educational Tablets for 4,609 pupils for BESDA Schools
Lot 7: Procurement of 240 tablets for 220 Mentos and coaches, and 10 data officers and 15 BESDA Team and 545 Tablets for Schools Attendance
Lot 8: Training of 220 Mentos and coaches, Training of 2,417 facilitators on RANA, KARI, Jolly Phonics, Basic Science, Civic Education, Mathematics and English for post Basic Literacy and Schools
Lot 9: Procurement of 42,400 KARI and RANA Textbooks and Refresher Training for Master Trainers on RANA,KARI, Jolly Phonics, Basic Science, Civic Education, Mathematics and English for post Basic Literacy and Schools
Lot 10: Procurement of 56,000 English book 2 Textbooks for selected BESDA Schools and 1,554 English teachers guide
Lot 11: Procurement of 56,000 Mathematic book 2 Textbooks for selected BESDA Schools and 1,554 mathematic teachers guide
Lot 12: Procurement of 1 No Public address system for SUBEB EMIS centre, Training of 35 State and LGEA EMIS Staffs on Data digitalization and Training of 518 School Data officers on new model of digital attendance and Data visualization
Lot 13: Training of 518 Head Teachers on Safeguard
1. PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
i. Evidence of registration with corporate Affairs Commission.
ii. Reliable list of similar work executed (letter of Award/certificate of completion photo copy).
iii. Tax clearance certificate for the last three years.
iv. Evidence of VAT registration/ VAT remittance.
v. Technical capability of the Company.
vi. Audited financial statement of account for the last three years. List of the pre-qualified bidders will be placed on the notice Board of the BESDA Office.
2. TENDER/BIDDING DOCUMENT
i. The tender document will be available for collection upon the Payment of non- refundable fee of N20,000.00.
ii. Pre-qualification document are to be submitted as from today 21th November, 2022 and close on 30th November 2022 and will be Open immediately.
3. SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENT
Tenders are to be deposited in the tender Box at the conference Hall of the Board Head quarter SUBEB No. 1 Jos road Maiduguri, Borno State from 2nd December, 2022 and will close on Monday 12th December, 2022 between 8.00 am – 12:00 pm and will be open immediately. The Tenders documents should be clearly marked “tender” for specific lot and must be addressed to the:

No, 1 Jos road shall be opened immediately after the dead line for Submission.
iv. Note
- Tenders submitted after dead line of submission will be returned unopened.
- Borno BESDA will not be liable for improper submissions or unregistered tenders.
- Any tender that does not comply with the above requirements or any form of deviation from the requirements will be rejected.
