REQUEST FOR BIDS (RFB) FOR CHANNELIZATION OF OGBERE SOUTH RIVER FOR FLOOD CONTROL IN IBADAN CITY OF OYO STATE
(IUFMP/ W/NCB/01/2022)

INTRODUCTION:
The Federal Government of Nigeria, on behalf of the Oyo State Government has received a Credit from the World Bank towards the cost of improving the capacity of Oyo State to effectively manage flood risk in the city of Ibadan through Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project (IUFMP) and intends to apply parts of the proceeds towards the payments of the contract for Channelization of Ogbere South River for Flood Control in Ibadan City of Oyo State.

The Oyo State Government, through the Project Implementation Unit of Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project, now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Channelization of Ogbere South River for Flood Control in Ibadan City of Oyo State as detailed below;

BIDDING PROCEDURES:
Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Small Works under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers (“Procurement Guidelines”) and is open to all eligible bidder as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on Conflict of Interest.

INVITATION:
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information in writing from Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project, through the Project Coordinator at Email: iufmpprocurement@gmail.com and may also inspect the bidding documents during office hours between 9.00 hours -16.00 hours, Monday – Friday at the address given below.

PAYMENT FOR BIDDING DOCUMENTS:
A complete set of bidding documents in English Language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee Thousand Naira (N50,000.00). The method of payment will be by Bank Draft issued in favour of Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project.  A complete set of the Bidding Document can be sent to the bidder upon a written request through a courier firm at the service cost to the bidder.

BIDS SUBMISSION AND OPENING:
Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12:00 noon on Tuesday, 29 November, 2022. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below by 12noon on Tuesday, 29 November 2022. The Bid Security of Six Million Naira (NGN 6.0m) must be attached to the Bid.
