GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE (GPN) FOR YEAR 2022 TETFUND ANNUAL INTERVENTION 2022/SY461 PROJECTS
(1) INTRODUCTION
Edo State Polytechnic, Usen, Edo State hereby issues the General Procurement Notice to inform eligible Contractors, Suppliers, Vendors and the general public that the Polytechnic is to undertake the construction and furnishing of 2 Lecture halls with 4 no. offices under Year 2022 Tetfund Annual intervention 2022/SY461 projects
(2) SCOPE/DESCRIPTION OF PROJECTS
TETF/POLY/USEN/2022/ANN/01
LOT 1: Proposed Construction and Furnishing of 2nr Lecture halls with 4nr offices comprising;
50nr 5 seater collapsible 2250 500mm, 2nr 3000 lumens multimedia projector with remote and fabric display screen, 4nr 2400 1200mm whiteboard, 4nr rechargeable address system, 4nr 1800 * 900 executive desk, 4nr executive chair, 8nr office visitors chair, 4nr security file cabinets.
(3) Interested and eligible Contractors, Suppliers, Vendors are advised to lookout for the Specific Procurement Notice (SPN) for the project mentioned above in the Federal Tender Journal, National Dailies and Notice Boards.
(4) The Advertisement is NOT an Invitation to Tender.
(5) Note that the bid documents would be evaluated on responsiveness to criteria including but not limited to:
(i) Evidence of Certificate of Registration/Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);
(ii) Evidence of Company Income’s Tax Clearance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2022;
(iii) Evidence of current Pension Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2022;
(iv) Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2022;
(v) Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2022;
(vi) Evidence of Interim Registration Report (IRR) Certificate expiring on 31/12/2022 or valid Certificate issued by BPP.
(vii) Sworn Affidavit disclosing:
(a) That the company is not in receivership, insolvent or Bankrupt
(b) That no Director of the company has ever been convicted in any court in Nigeria or any other country for criminal offence relating to fraud or financial impropriety
(c) Whether or not any officer of the relevant committees of the Edo State Polytechnic, Usen or the Bureau of Public Procurement is a former or present Director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder.
(d) That all information presented in its bid are true and correct in all particulars;
(viii) Reference Letter from a reputable commercial bank in Nigeria, indicating willingness to provide credit facility for the execution of the project when needed;
(ix) Company Profile with the Curriculum Vitae of Key Staff to be deployed for the project, including copies of their Academic/Professional qualifications;
(x) Verifiable documentary evidence of at least three (3) similar jobs executed in the last five (5) years including Letters of Awards, Valuation Certificates, Job Completion Certificates;
(xi) Interested Bidders must have minimum annual turnover of N50 Million

Edo State Polytechnic, Usen reserves the right to invoke the provision of Section 28 of the Public Procurement Act, 2007 on matters regarding this procurement without incurring any liability to the bidder.
