INVITATION TO BID FOR THE DISPOSAL OF NIGER STATE LANDED PROPERTY
PREAMBLE
Niger State Government is desirous of disposing 27Nos. 4,5 & 6-Bedroom duplexes as proposed Legislature Wing and 11 Nos. 5-Bedroom duplexes as proposed Executive Wing with 25Nos. undeveloped plots at 3-Arms zone.
Invitation to Bid
The general public is hereby invited to bid for landed property of Niger State Government identified as Executive wing and Legislative wings, Eastern bye-pass, Minna, Niger State.
The Executive wing comprises 11No 5-bedrrom detached duplexes, 2No bedroom and guest bedroom with boundary line with a gate house. The buildings are under construction at various level of completion
The Buildings are identified as duplexes on the table below

Legislature’s wing
Tins wing comprises 27Nos duplexes on site. Within the site, there are 10Nos. 4-Bedroom duplexes with 2 room guest bedroom. There is a gate house and the premises finished on interlocking tiles with kerbs to guide walkways. Fence wall has been erected along boundary lines marked with steel gates. There is 1No 6-bedroom duplex under construction with Boy’s Quarters and fence wall erected along boundary’ lines. There are also 5-bedroom duplexes under construction at various level of completion.

The bidders are to strictly abide by the under listed terms and conditions:-
(i) Each property should be bided for independently.
(ii) The party that wish to bid must be identifiable
(a) Individual; Provide any of the following; National ID and International Passport or Drivers license.
(b) Company; to provide Certificate of incorporation and form CO2 & CO7
(iii) Bid package should include the followings;
(a) Complete bid application form with all necessary details
(b) Bank draft in favour of Niger State Housing Corporation, Minna in the sum of N50,000.00 as non-refundable processing fees.
(c) Bank draft in favour of Niger State Housing Corporation, Minna for the 10% of the price as bid security. Thus is refundable for unsuccessful bids.
(d) Mode of payments for the balance of 90% outstanding.
(iv)The successful bidder must process C of O in respect of the property at the Ministry of Land and Housing at his/ her own cost
Inspection of Property
The buildings are open to inspection for prospective bidders in liaison with a staff of Niger State Housing Corporation, Minna from Thursday, 1 December, 2022 to Wednesday 28 December, 2022 between the hours of 10:00am and 4:00pm on Monday to Friday and 11:00am and 2:00pm on Saturdays.
Submission of Bid Documents
All bids must be enclosed in well sealed envelope clearly marked at the top left hand corner as “BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF’ (property address) addresses to Niger State Housing Corporation, Paiko Road, P.M.B 105, Minna.
Timeline for Submission
All bids must be submitted on or before 2:00pm on Tuesday, 28 December, 2022. Bids will be opened immediately at NIGIS Conference hall, Ministry of Lands and Housing, Club road, Minna, Niger state.
Disqualification of Bids
Any bid that is not in conformity with bidding procedure earlier listed above and or not submitted on or before the deadline will be automatically disqualified and will be stepped down.

Payments
- Non-refundable processing fee of N50,000.00; This is to be attached along with bid
- 10% of the bid purchase sum of the properly; This is to be attached along with the bid
- Mode of payment for the balance of 90% of the bench mark price of the property
The options of payment are:
- Direct purchase: balance of 90% shall be paid within 6months from the date bid is opened.
- Mortgage: This will be processed by Niger State Housing Corporation on behalf of the beneficiaries
