REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF INTEGRATED & FAMILY PLANNING DEMAND CREATION MATERIALS 2023

The Johns Hopkins University Centre for Communication Programs (JHUCCP). Baltimore USA, has received USAID funding, under the Breakthrough ACTION Nigeria (BA-N) project, to implement health promotion and social and behaviour change interventions in Nigeria from 2018-2025. This project works with the Federal and State Ministries of Health to build their capacity in social and behaviour change communication leadership and implement cutting-edge social and behavioural interventions to improve the health and well-being of Nigerians across a broad array of health issues, including Maternal, Neonatal, Child Health and Nutrition (MNCH+N), Family Planning, Malaria and Tuberculosis, We work in 11 states and Abuja FCT, spanning each of the major geographical zones in the country.

PURPOSE & SPECIFICATIONS

Breakthrough ACTION Nigeria project seeks to engage the services of eligible print vendors to produce Family Planning demand creation materials. Intending bidders are expected to quote for part of or all items in this procurement based on area(s) of specialization as specified in the table below.

ELIGIBILITY OF BIDDERS
All bidders must show their eligibility to participate in this procurement by providing copies of the following documents:

• Company Profile Legal Certificate of Incorporation in Nigeria and Tax Identification Certification with verifiable business address, valid email with telephone numbers and point of contact for the organization: Bidders Must have office in FCT, or environs,
• Due Diligence Check on the business premises, equipment, and capacity of bidders to deliver
• Bidders will be assessed on all parameters

EVALUATION CRITERIA

Evaluation factors are:

(1) Price

(2) Assessment of samples to meet technical specification

(3) Delivery lead time

(4) Evidence of past performance on similar procurement with reputable organizations, including reference contact (at least 3 Reference contact – name, telephone, email and Organization)

Evaluation will be done in three stages.

(ii) Ability to meet Evaluation criteria: Provision of Quality Sample

Submission of samples:
Qualified Vendors will be contacted for Sample Submission Submission and Retrieval of Samples is at no cost to BA Nigeria.

Samples may/not be retrieved in the original condition submitted as it may undergo tears and wear as the result of handling while inspecting.

Note:

(1) Awards can be made to more than one vendor, therefore considerations will be made per line item.

(2) All items must be durable and be of good quality

(3) All submitted quotes must remain valid for a period of 90 days.

(4) Quotes must be in Naira

(5) Delivery lead lime should be clearly stated

(6) Payment terms should be stated clearly

(7) Intending bidders must submit pictures of previous work done along with their quotation.

(8) All items are to be delivered to the BA-N office, all handling, packaging/ transportation costs should be incorporated in the unit cost

Submission of Quotes – All bids must be on company’s official letter head, duly signed and dated and emailed to batenders@ba-nigeria.org. Please ensure that bids capture all the requirements for selection and must be sent as one pdf document. Please state your payment terms while quoting However. BA-N s preferred term is full payment after receipt of goods & services, when all invoices have been received and certification of products

BA-N is VAT exempt, so please do not include VAT fees when quoting. Also note that BA-N will deduct 5% withholding tax from the total value, to be remitted to FIRS. Payment will be made after submission of vendor invoice and acceptance/certification of items by BA-N
