INVITATION TO BID FOR SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF LAPTOP, MULTIMEDIA EQUIPMENT & CLOUD TESTBED INFRASTRUCTURES
Introduction
Covenant Applied Informatics and Communication Africa Centre of Excellence (CApIC-ACE) domiciled at Covenant University is one of the centers selected to be funded by the World Bank for 2019 – 2024 ACE Impact project. The Center was established based on the urgent need to build a critical mass of indigenous African Scientists with the necessary bioinformatics, molecular biology, and information and Communication engineering knowledge and skills to drive and sustain impactful researches.
CApIC-ACE, in compliance with the provisions of the Public Procurement Act 2007, hereby invites interested and competent suppliers/vendors to submit bids for the following lots.
Lot Descriptions Lot 1 Supply and Installation of Laptop and Multimedia Equipment Lot 2 Supply and Installation of Cloud Testbed Infrastructures
Eligibility Requirements
Firms interested in bidding for any of the lots must possess the following eligibility requirements:
(i) Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) including Forms CAC-02 and CAC-07;
(ii) Evidence of Company’s Income Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years valid till 31st December, 2022;
(iii) Evidence of Pension Clearance Certificate valid 31st December 2022 (this requirement is only applicable to bidders whose number of staff is 15 and above;
(iv) Evidence of Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2022 (this requirement is only applicable to bidders whose number of staff is 5 and above or the bidder’s annual turnover is N50m and above);
(v) Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2022;
(vi) Verifiable documentary evidence of at least three (3) similar jobs executed in the last three (3) years;
(vii) Company profile or brochure
Collection of Bidding Documents
Interested companies are to collect the bid documents from Procurement Office, 1st Floor, Senate Building, Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State. The office is open between 8am to 5pm, from Monday, 6 February, 2023 to Friday, 17 February, 2023.
Bids Submission
Prospective bidders are to submit two (2) hard copies of each technical and financial bid packaged separately in a sealed envelope and clearly marked as Technical bid or Financial Bid, Thereafter, put the two sealed envelopes together in a bigger sealed envelope and addressed to;
The Registrar,
Covenant University,
Km 10, Idiroko Road,
Canaan land, Ota, Ogun State.
On the reverse side of the envelope, ensure to put the company name and address. Bids should the submitted in the bidding box at the Registrar’s Office, 3rd Floor, Senate Building, Covenant University Ota, not later than 12:00 pm on Friday, 17 March, 2023.
Bids Opening
The technical and financial bid document will be opened by 12:30 pm Friday, 17 March, 2023 at the Registrar’s Conference Room (3rd Floor, Senate Building, Covenant University, Ota) in the present of bidders or their representatives. Please ensure that you sign the opening register indicating company name, representative contact details (phone number and email).
CApIC-ACE will not be liable for mislabeled submissions or wrongly submitted bids.
General Information
(i) Bids must be in English and signed by an official authorized signatory by the bidder;
(ii) Bids submitted after deadline shall be returned un-opened to the bidder;
(iii) Prospective bidders are to submit bids for each of the lots desired. two (2) hard copies each of the technical and financial bids;
(iv) Each bid package shall be clearly marked with the Lot Number and the description of the project on the outer envelope;
(v) All costs will be borne by the bidders;
(vi) Bidders may bid for the two (2) lots;
(vii) Bidders may also visit Covenant University website, www.covenantuniversity.edu.ng for the advert publication;
