INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION & TENDER FOR PROJECT
Taraba State Universal Basic Education Board, Jalingo has been granted Approval for the Implementation of 2022 UBEC/TSUBEB Matching Grant Action Plan. The Action plans are guided towards the new construction of classrooms, rehabilitation of dilapidated classrooms, construction of a perimeter fence, drilling of solar boreholes and supply of classrooms and Teachers Furniture and ECCDE equipment across the selected Primary Schools and Junior Secondary Schools. In view of the above, Taraba State Universal Basic Education Board, Jalingo intends to use the fund for the aforementioned. The Board desires that interested Companies/ Firms to submit pre-qualification documents for the execution of these projects.
(I) SCOPE OF PROJECTS
(1) New construction of classrooms and VIP toilets in some selected ECCDE: Primary and Junior Secondary Schools in the State.
(2) Rehabilitation of classrooms and toilets
(3) Drilling of solar boreholes
(4) Construction of perimeter fence
(5) Supply of ECCDE plastic furniture and equipment
(II) ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE AWARD OF CONTRACTS AT THE BOARD.
The pre-qualification documents must contain the following:
(1) CAC Certificate
(2) Detailed Company Profile with CVs of key staff and their professional qualification (COREN, CORBON, QSRBN, ARCON etc)
(3) Registration with the Board as a Contractor and purchase of tender/pre-qualification documents.
(4) 3 years Tax Clearance Certificates (2020 – 2022).
(5) TIN Number
(6) PENCOM Compliance Certificate
(7) NSITF Compliance Certificate
(8) Similar jobs successfully executed with evidence of Completion
(9) Technical capability and list of Company equipment
(III) GENERAL CONDITION
(A) All pre-qualification documents are to be sealed in an envelope with the “Pre-Qualification” and to be submitted at the Board Conference Hall, Board Headquarters, Opposite De-Bass Hotel, Hammaruwa Way, Jalingo to be drop in the Bid Box provided, not later than 14-days from this advertisement (date of Advert 15 February, 2023).
(B) Pre-Qualification Documents should be close and open by 12noon same day (1 March 2023) at the premises of the Board Headquarters Opposite De-Bass Hotel, Hammaruwa Jalingo.
(C) Pre-Qualified Companies/Firms be informed of the outcome of the assessment later than fourteen (14) days after opening of PQ Documents.
(D) Pre-Qualified Companies/Firms companies are to pay a Tender Fee of N30,000 prior the commencement of the Project and or collection of Tender Documents
(E) Final list of Assessment will be communicated to qualified bidders after 2weeks from this date.
