INVITATION FOR THE EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR SUPPLY OF HARDWARE COMPONENTS FOR THE SETUP OF THE ANAMBRA STATE DATA CENTRE

(1.0) INTRODUCTION
The Anambra State Government through the State ICT Agency seeks to engage competent, experienced, and qualified companies/vendors to supply components for the setup of the Anambra State Data Center.

The planned Data Centre will enhance the delivery of essential digital services and will play a critical role in supporting Mr. Governor’s promise to deliver “Everything technology and Technology Everywhere” to Ndi Anambra.

(2.0) SCOPE OF WORK

  • Supply and Installation of the necessary Servers for hosting and compute services
  • Supply and installation of the necessary Network switches and routers that will be used to manage network traffic and connect the servers to each other and to the outside world.
  • Supply and installation of Storage devices including hard drives, solid-state drives, and storage area networks (SANs) used for storing data.
  • Supply and installation of Power distribution units (PDUs) for the distribution of power to the various equipment in the data centre.
  • Supply and installation of Uninterrupted power supply (UPS) for providing backup power in case of a power outage. This includes a Solar Power System
  • Supply and installation of Cooling and ventilation equipment to maintain the temperature and humidity levels within the data centre to prevent equipment from overheating.
  • Supply and Installation of the Fire suppression equipment that use chemicals or other agents to quickly extinguish fires without damaging the equipment.
  • Supply and Installation of Security equipment including cameras, access control doors, and other measures to prevent unauthorized access to the data centre.
  • Supply and Installation of Network Monitoring and management hardware to monitor the health and performance of the equipment in the data centre.

(3.0) EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Competent, experienced, and qualified companies/vendors are invited to present their Expressions of Interests (EOI) to supply and install the components of the Data Center for Anambra State. All EOI must be in line with the scope of activities outlined above.

All notices of intent must be accompanied by the following:

  • Evidence of legal and professional status of the company/vendor.
  • Current tax clearance certificate (evidence of payment of tax for the last three (3) years and as at when due)
  • Company profile and evidence of relevant experience in similar projects
  • Verifiable reference list of clients for whom similar works were/are being executed giving scope, location, and value.
  • Company’s audited financial reports and funding information over the last three years
  • Statement of the organization’s core technical competencies and skills available. 
  • Details of key manpower resources available including names and short CVs of key professional staff to be deployed
  • Name, position, e-mail, and phone number of the company/vendor contact person.
  • Any other relevant information that may be useful in assessing the company’s suitability for the project.
  • The requested information should be compiled and arranged in the order shown above.

(4.0) APPLICATION DETAILS:
