EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF BASIC WELDING TOOLS
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH; “GIZ SKYE, financed by German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation, would like to procure “Basic Welding Tools” with the following but not limited specification:
Lot 1: Wall Industrial plug, 30mm Armored cables, Drilling machines, Bending machines, Metal workbench, Workbench vices, Vernier height gauge, Steel marking out plate (Engineers surface table/marking out table)
Lot 2: Centring Square_material, Craftman Tool Storage cabinet, Die stock, Adjustable Tap wrench, Scribers, Try square, Protractor, Measuring tools set, Engineering hammer 200g, Pairs of plier set, Set of spanners, Allen key wrench, Screw driver, Hacksaw Frames and Blades, Sheet Metal Scissors, Chisel-taper pin punch-pin punch- centre punch, File set, Precision files set, Grippling plier, Safety boots, Welding hand gloves, Welding safety glasses, Hearing Protection, Safety welding helmet, Drill bit set, Tapping tools set, Counter sink, Original hack saw blades, Grinding discs, Cutting discs, Electrical grinder, Grinder discs for table grinder, Sandpaper, Welding wire, Welding electrodes, 3-Tier rolling welding cart with gas cylinder, welding gas for MIG machine and Cylinder, set of screws-bolt and nuts, Mild steel tubes_ round, Galvanised steels tubes_round, Mild steel tubes_rectangular, Flat mild steel bars, Square mild steel angles bars, Mild steel angles bars, Metal sheets.
Accordingly, GIZ invites interested dealers to furnish GIZ Nigeria Country Office with the following:
a. An official letter expressing interest.
b. Concise company profile
c. Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Memorandum of Association clearly indicating relevant business area.
d. Bank Introductory Letter.
e. Tax clearance certificate for the last 3 years clearly indicating (minimum) average turnover per year (as applicable) for:
i. Lot 1-10,500,000 naira; ii. Lot 2-8,500,000 naira
f. Evidence of experience with previous similar jobs (supply and delivery of Basic Welding Tools with values that add up to minimum of i. Lot 1 – 10,500,000 naira; ii. Lot 2 – 8,500,000 naira. Only third-party evidence will be considered, not list of similar jobs.
For consideration, all interested bidders should submit the aforementioned documents (clearing indicating interested lots) as a hard copy in a sealed envelope to GIZ Nigeria Office reception at No. 12 Charles de Gaulle Close, Asokoro, Abuja labelled:

Your complete documents should not be more than 20 pages. Only complete documents received at the physical address indicated not later than Thursday 6th April 2023 by 5pm from the date of this publication will be accepted and considered.
