EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR PROJECTS EXECUTION

INTRODUCTION
The Osun State College of Education, Ila-Orangun, Osun State intends to lease out its Water Factory to the prospective members of the public. The water factory is for production of premium sachets and bottled water on a commercial scale with a view to providing hygienic water to the College community and members of the public. The Management of the College, having considered the report of the technical experts, has approved the leasing of the Water Factory to the interested members of the public who have the required experience to manage the factory in manner that would make the factory operates as a going concern, to provide adequate returns for the investment of the College among others.

The College is therefore, inviting interested members of the public to bid for the lease arrangement in line with below terms and conditions,

(i) The lessor (College) will retain the full ownership of the Water Factory with no intention to transfer any part thereof in the future to lessee;

(ii) The lessee will be responsible for full control of the assets throughout the tenure of the lease arrangement;

(iii) The lessee will be responsible for proper maintenance of the leased assets;

(iv) The lessee will be responsible for recruitment, remuneration and staff promotion and disengagement and other associated liabilities including employee benefits;

(v) The lessee will be entitled to the reward of ownership as long as the lease arrangement subsists;

(vi) The lessee will pay a fix lease rental in accordance with the agreed terms and conditions

(vii) The lessee is to make adequate provision for future replacement of machines and equipment through depreciation;

(viii) The minimum lease period will be for a period of three (3) years in the first instance;

(ix) The Factory will be available to provide entrepreneurship opportunity for students where and when necessary, given consideration for business imperative;

(x) The contract may be terminated by either party after the minimum lease period with a year notice.

The intending lessee should equally note that the following facilities are already available in the factory:

  • Automatic Filling Machine with Steam Label
  • Automatic Machine without steam Label

  • Stainless Tank for Treatment (2)
  • Stainless Pump (1HP) Qty
  • Sachet Water Machine
  • Ultra Violet Sterilizers
  • Physio-Chemical Laboratory Equipment
  • Pipes and Fittings
  • Tanks 4000L
  • Shrink Label Printing Cylinders
  • Fire Extinguisher and Fire Alarm System
  • First Aid Box

Interested members of the public who wish to bid for the above arrangement should put forward ten (10) application letters with supporting documents showing the prerequisites and experience of the prospective (lessee to manage such arrangement in that capacity.

The application and Supporting documents should be addressed to the Secretary of the College Tenders Board, Osun State College of Education, Ila- Orangun, Osun State, within three (3) weeks, from the date of this advertisement.
