INVITATION FOR TENDERS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF MUBI ROUND ABOUT FLYOVER IN JIMETA AND ADAMAWA SUPER HIGHWAY (FROM WELCOME TO YOLA TO YOLDE PATE), YOLA SOUTH LGA (16.5KM)

Adamawa state government request for tender for the Execution of 2No Contract in the State which form part of its 2023 approved revised Budget

These are:

Lot 1Construction of Mubi Roundabout Flyover and reconstruction of adjoining streets in Jimeta, Yola North LGA.
Lot 2Construction of Adamawa super highway (from welcome to Yola to Yolde Pate), Yola –South LGA. – 16.5km

INTERESTED CONTRACTORS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS
Shall be incorporated in Nigeria and have all the legal requirement to operate in the country – including registration with relevant bodies which include:

  • Corporate affairs commission (CAC)
  • ADSBPP– 2023
  • PENCOM– 2023
  • ITF– 2023
  • Tax clearance– Last three (3) years
  • Last three (3) years audited accounts.
  • General/Specific Experience)
  • Company profile with CV of professional staff to be deployed for the project.

(1) Must have capability, to commence work without advance payment to the satisfaction of the client.

(2) Ownership of quarry and asphalt plants in the state are key requirements or commitment letter from owners of quarry/asphalt plant for supply of gravels/asphalt.

(3) Should have evidence of satisfactory execution of similar project in the state in the past five years.

(4) Bidding document are to be obtained online on payment of non-refundable fee of N500,000.00 (Five Hundred Thousand Naira only per lot into the Ministry of Works and Energy Development Bank Account, No. 2603000778 at Eco Bank., Yola Branch. (Code number will be given to each purchaser of the bidding document per lot).

(5) All submissions in response to this advert should be in English language.

(6) Bids must be duly signed.

(7) Contractors must be fully mobilized in the State.

Bidders are advised to:

  • Inspect the project sites, the scopes of works and the blank Bill of Engineering Measurement and Evaluation (BEME) accompanying it, so as to avoid discrepancies in understanding of the project.
  • Note that the process is not bound to consider the lowest bidder.
  • Submit their works plan and methodology.
  • Submit bids and all relevant document with the title of project be clearly written at the back as advertised and addressed to Permanent Cecretary, Ministry of Works & Energy Development, Adamawa State Secretariat Complex, Lamido Aliyu way, Yola.

SUBMISSION

  • Enclose a photocopy of the receipts as evidence of purchase of bidding. Code number(s) will be given to contractor after payment to access bidding document via our e-procurement portal.
  • Must enclose a bid security – minimum of 3% of the quoted price of each project. Addressed to, the permanent secretary, Ministry of Works and Energy Development, Adamawa State Secretariat Complex Lamido Aliyu way, Yola
