INVITATION FOR TENDER FOR YEAR 2020 UNIVERSAL BASIC EDUCATION INTERVENTION FGN/UBEC/SUBEB/ PROJECT
(1.0) Introduction
The Kwara State Government through Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB) has received approval to implement the year 2020 FGN/UBEC/SUBEB/Projects.
(2) In compliance with Public Procurement act 2017 the Board wishes to invite interested registered, capable and reputable contractors to submit their tender documents and maintaining the rules of one bid per bidders for Project in categories listed below:
(i) Category A: Construction of a block of two (2) classroom with office – (51 Nos)
(ii) Category B: Construction of V.I.P toilets with deep well- (13 Nos)
(iii) Category C: Remodeling of Classrooms (52 Nos)
(iv) Category D: Provision of Students furniture – (2602 Units)
(v) Category E: Provision of teachers furniture – (480 Sets)
(vi) Category F: Water & Sanitation – (6 Nos)
(vii) Category G: Provision of ECCDE plastic furniture (376 Sets)
(3) Qualifications Requirement:
Interested contractors/suppliers should submit their company profile in addition to the following documents.
(a) Certificate of incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission
(b) Evidence of Registration/Renewal as Contractor with KWSUBEB,
(c) Evidence of Registration/Renewal as Contractor with Kwara State Ministry of Works.
(d) Evidence of Three (3) Year Current Company Tax Clearance 2020, 2021 and 2022,
(e) Evidence of Industrial Training fund ITF Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2022.
(f) Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund Compliance Certificate Valid till 31st December 2022.
(g) PENCOM Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2022
(h) Evidence of registration on National Data base of Federal Contractor, Consultants and Service providers by submission of interim Registration report (IRR) expiring on 31stDecember, 2022.
(i) Company audited account for the last 3 years i.e 2020, 2021 and 2022
(j) Variable documents evidence of at least 3 similar jobs executed in the last 3 years including letter of award, evaluation certificate, job completion certificate and photograph of the projects.
(k) VAT registration and evidence of VAT remittance
(l) Evidence of financial capability and bank supporting reference
(m) Equipment and technology capacity with evidence of ownership or lease
(n) Evidence of payment of appropriate non-refundable tender fee of N10,000.00 only.
SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
2 copies of completed Tender documents in a sealed envelope marked tender documents under category written on the right corner of the sealed envelope must be delivered by hand before 12 noon, on Wednesday 20 September, 2023 (6weeks duration from the date of advert) to Tender Secretary Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB) Lajorin Street P.M.B 1404, llorin Kwara State Nigeria.
BID OPENING
The tender documents will be open in the presence of the bidders making submission or their representatives with evidence of legal existence at Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB) premises at 12 noon prompt, on Wednesday 20 September, 2023.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
(a) Contractors are advised to collect company profile format from the office of the Director Project Kwara SUBEB during office hours
(b) The project unit reserve the right to verify any claim by potentials bidders
(c) Contractors are advised to collect tender document from the office of director project Kwara SUBEB office.
(d) These advertisement of invitation to tender cannot be construed to the commitment on the part Board to award any form of contract to any company Defaulting contractors with Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB) that are yet to complete their project need not tender.
