GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE (GPN) FOR YEAR 2023 TETFUND MAINTENANCE PROJECTS AND SUPPLY OF LIBRARY BOOKS AND EQUIPMENT
1. INTRODUCTION
The Waziri Umaru Polytechnic, Birinin Kebbi, hereby issues the General Procurement Notice to inform eligible contractors, suppliers, vendors and the general public that the Polytechnic is to undertake Procurement of works and Goods under the Year 2023 Tetfund Maintenance Projects and Supply of Library Books and Equipment.
2. SCOPE OF WORKS/SUPPLY
Lot 1: Renovation and conversion of battery cage (Poultry Block) into 2Nr Tailoring and computer/handset repairs, training workshop at the Entrepreneurship Development Centre
Lot 2: Renovation of bottle and sachet water block
Lot 3: Supply of assorted books & journals and double sided book shelve
3. Interested and eligible contractors, suppliers and vendors are advised to lookout for the Specific Procurement Notice (SPN) for the Goods mentioned above in Federal Tenders Journal, National Dallies and Notice Boards.
4. The advertisement is NOT an Invitation to Tender.
5. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Note that the bid documents would be evaluated on responsiveness to criteria including but not limited to:
i. Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) including form CAC 1.1 or CAC 2 and CAC 7
ii. Evidence of current Tax Clearance Certificate valid till 31st December 2023;
iii. Evidence of current Pension Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December 2023;
iv. Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) compliance certificate valid till 31st December 2023
v. Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Compliance certificate valid till 31st December 2023
vi. Evidence of Registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by submission of Interim Registration Report (IRR) expiring on 31/12/2023
vii. Sworn affidavit that no officer of Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin-Kebbi or Bureau of Public Procurement is a Director of shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and confirm that all information presented to its bid are true and correct in all particulars;
viii. Company’s Audited Accounts for the last three years (2020, 2021 & 2022) duly acknowledged by the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS);
ix. Reference letter from a reputable commercial bank indicating willingness to provide credit facility for the execution of the project when needed;
x. Company’s profile with the curriculum Vitae of key staff
xi. Evidence of at least three (3) similar jobs executed in the last five (5) years.
6. Documents submitted shall be subjected to due diligence without recourse to bidder.
7. The Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi, reserves the right to annul the procurement process at any time without incurring any liabilities in accordance with section 28 of the Public Procurement ACT 2007.
