INVITATION TO TENDER FOR PROJECTS EXECUTION
1.0. INTRODUCTION
The Kano State Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, in its continuous effort to scale up the standard of infrastructure delivery as well as general Socio-Economic wellbeing of its teeming citizenry, intends to construct the following projects at strategic locations in the State.
1. Construction of Kofar Dan’ agundi Interchange (Flyover & Underpass).
2. Construction of Tal’ Udu Interchange (Clover Leaf Flyover).
3. Construction of Rijiyar Gwangwan Township Road Network in Dawakin Kudu LGA.
4. Construction of Kofar Waika – Unguwar Dabai – Sabon Rami Kankare – Yankuje Road in Gwale LGA.
5. Construction of Unguwa Uku Yan’ awaki – Limawa Junction Road in Tarauni LGA
6. Reconstruction of Governor’s Lodge at Kwankwasiyya City
However, the application is open to voluntary formed joined ventures.
2.0. Bidding Requirements
All interested companies are requested to:
a. submit a comprehensive document containing the following particulars:
i. Evidence of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission(CAC)
ii. Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years.
iii. Company Audited Account for three years.
iv. Technical Qualification and experience of Key personnel
v. Evidence of Financial Capability
vi. Evidence of similar projects executed in the State for the last three years
vii. Evidence of works registration with Kano State Government
viii. Evidence of registration with Ministry for Public Procurement, Monitoring & Evaluation
ix. Evidence of compliance with Section 6(1) – (3) of the ITF Amendment Act No. 19 of 2011 for the last one (1) year.
x. Evidence of registration with COREN
xi. Copy of Registration with PENCOM
xii. Copy of Registration with NSITF
xiii. Copy of Business premises license
b. Applicants are also required to:
i. Obtain the bidding documents from the office of the Secretary Special Ministerial Tenders Board Planning, Research & Statistics Department, Ministry of Works Housing, Kano State.
ii. Submit all bids and other bidding documents in sealed envelope.
iii. Submit a bid security in an amount not less than 3% of the bid price.

3.0. Prequalification Document
Submission of document must be received in sealed envelope which is to be either delivered by hand or registered mail, not later than Two Weeks from the date of this advert. The document shall be forwarded in an envelope to the address below containing on the top right- hand corner of the envelope. This should be addressed to:

4.0 Exception Clause
i. It is worth noting that the process is not bound to consider only the lowest bidder, Other factors may be reckoned.
ii. Ensure that the bids should adequately cover the execution of the works without further demand on Government.
