YANKWASHI LOCAL GOVERNMENT, JIGAWA STATE
INVITATION TO TENDER FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION/FINANCIAL BIDS FOR PROJECTS EXECUTION
1. PREAMBLE
In compliance with the Jigawa State Procurement Process, Yankwashi Local Government Jigawa State wishes to notify interested bidders of its intention to construct (100M X 150M) mini Stadium perimeter walling and gate at Yankwashi town phase I.
2. PROJECT SCOPE
CONSTRUCTION OF (100M X 150M) MINI STADIUM PERIMETER WALLING AND GATE AY YANKWASHI TOWN TO BE COMPLETED WITHIN 12 WEEKS.
3. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for pre-qualification, interested competent and reliable contractors are required to provide verifiable evidence including but not limited to the following documents;
I. Certificate of Incorporation with Cooperate Affairs Commission
II. Certificate true copy memorandum and article of association
III. Evidence of Registration with Jigawa State Works Registration unit;
IV. Tax clearance for the last three years;
V. Audited account for the last one (1) years
VI. VAT Registration certificate and evidence of past remittance;
VII. Evidence of financial capability and banking support;
VIII. Company average annual turnover of not less than N30,000,000.00
IX. Evidence of similar projects executed (letter of award and completion certificate) at least three (3) in the last five years;
X. Verifiable evidence of company profile and technical qualification of Key technical personnel registered with relevant professional bodies body, COREN, CORBON, ARCON, QSRBN etc
XI. That the company have fulfilled all obligations to pay taxes, pensions and social security contributions
XII. A sworn affidavit certifying as follows:
a. That the document submitted are genuine and correct.
b. That none of the directors/partner of the company has been convicted by any court of law.
c. That the company is not bankrupt.
d. That none of the officers of Jigawa State/Local government is a present or former director of the company.
XIII. Any other relevant information that will help in determining the company’s suitability for the work.
4. COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENT
Interested bidders are to collect the tender documents from the Office of the Director Planning, Research and Statistic, Yankwashi Local Government Jigawa State, from the date of publication of this advert and between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm daily after a payment of a non-refundable fee of N50, 000.00
5. SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENT
Pre-qualification and financial bids shall be submitted in two different sealed envelopes and level ‘pre-qualification bid’ and ‘financial bids’ respectively with the company’s name indicated at the back of the each envelope. Both envelopes should be placed in a sealed third envelope addressed and delivered to the office of the Director Planning, Research and Statistics, Yankwashi Local Governments Jigawa State and not later than Friday 17th November, 2023 by 12:00 noon.
All documents for submission must be submitted with a Covering/Forwarding letter under the Company’s letterhead paper bearing amongst others, the Registration Number (RC) as issued by the CAC, Contact Address, Telephone Number (preferably GSM No) fax, and email address.
The financial bid should contain a bid security of not less than 2% of the quoted bid by way of Bank grantee or insurance bond issued by a reputable bank or insurance company acceptable by the procuring Entity.
The bid Validity period should be 120 days from the deadline of the bid submission date.
6. OPENING OF BIDS
Only technical bids shall be opened immediately after the deadline of the bid submission date.
7. GENERAL INFORMATION
i. Bids submitted after the deadline for submission will be returned unopened.
ii. Only financial bids of successful prequalified bidders will be opened; while those for the unsuccessful bidders will be returned un-opened.
iii. This advert shall not be construed as commitment on the part of the Yankwashi Local Government, Jigawa State nor shall it entail a company to make any claim(s) whatsoever and/or to seek any indemnity from Yankwashi Local Government, Jigawa State by virtue of such company having responded to this advertisement;
iv. All cost will be borne by the bidders as the Yankwashi Local Government, Jigawa State will not be held responsible for any cost or expenses incurred by any interested party i.e in connection with any response to this invitation
v. Yankwashi Local Government, Jigawa State reserves the right to annul the procurement process or reject a bidder at any time without incurring any liabilities
vi. Alternative bid will not be accepted
vii. Bidders with the same subsidiary relationship are not allowed to partake in the same lot.
