INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF HOSPITAL EQUIPMENT AND PENTACYCLIC AMBULANCES
A. INTRODUCTION
Taraba State Government through the Ministry of Health wishes to procure hospital equipment for Three Specialist hospitals and One Hundred and Seventy Five (175) Pentacycles under National Competitive Bid (NCB).
B. In compliance with the Taraba State Procurement Law TSPPL2012 and also having provided in the budget for the financial year 2023, the Ministerial Tenders Board hereby invites competent companies for the procurement as stated above.
C. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
- Tax clearance certificate for the last three years i.e from 2020-2022
- Evidence of Compliance with Pension Act (PENCON)
- Evidence of compliance with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF Compliance Certificate)
- Evidence of Registration with Taraba State Ministry of Finance
- Company’s Audited Account for the last three years i.e. from 2020-2022
- Details of company’s profile
- Evidence of Bank guarantee/Bid Security.
- Court sworn affidavit indicating:
i. That the company is not in receivership, insolvent or bankrupt.
ii. That the company does not have any Director who has evr been convicted in any court in Nigeria or other country for criminal offence in relation to fraud or financial impropriety.
iii. Whether or not any officer of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) or officer of the Taraba State Ministry of Health is a former or present Director, Shareholder or has any peculiarly interest in the bidding.
iv. That all documents submitted in the bidding are true and correct in all particulars.
D. COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Interested bidders are advised to obtain bidding documents containing the details specification for the procurement according to lots at the office of the Head of Procurement as from 10:00am to 3:pm at non-refundable fee of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,0000 only from 18th December, 2023 to 25th January 2024 (Mondays to Fridays).
E. SUBMISSION OF BIDS
Bids must be prepared as financial bids separately from Technical Bids. Three (3) copies are marked original and other photocopies each SEPERATELY packed in a sealed envelope clearly marked as Financial or Technical bids then put together in a big envelope and marked on the top right corner of the envelope with the name of the Lot tendered for, and the name of your company on the reverse side of the envelope. It should be noted that the total contract amount. Must be indicated in the forwarding letter using the company’s letter headed paper enclosed in the Technical bid.
F. The envelope should be addressed to the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Health, Taraba State.
G. SUBMISSION/CLOSING OF BIDS
The submission date and time for the closing of the tender is on or before 25th January, 2024 by 11:00am and the bid opens immediately after closing.
H. BID OPENING: the Bids shall be opened IMMEDIATELY after the closing by 11:00am at General Sani Abacha State Secretariat Conference Hall, of Hammaruwa Way Jalingo, Taraba State.
i. Only firms whose technical bids fulfill the minimum requirements would have their financial bids considered.

J.
