EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF AGROFORESTRY TREE SEEDLINGS
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH; “Integrated Approach to climate change in Rice production System in Nigeria – GIAE NG – InACC Programme”, financed by the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany and the European Union, would like to procure via a “Negotiated Award Procedure” the following Agroforestry Tree Seedlings in five (5) Lots to be distributed within Nigeria:
- Lot 1: 10,000 units of Oil Palm
- Lot 2: 5,000 units of Bush Mango
- Lot 3: 10,000 units of Mango
- Lot 4: 20,000 units of Banana & Plantain
- Lot 5: 5,000 units of Citrus
Including delivery in some Local Governmental Areas in Benue and Nasarawa States
Accordingly, interested Bidder are invited to furnish GIZ Nigeria Country Office with the following:
a. Comprehensive company profile
b. An official letter expressing interest.
c. Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), and Memorandum of Association clearly indicating relevant business area.
d. A Bank Introductory letter.
e. Tax clearance certificate for the last 3 years clearly indicating (minimum) average turnover per year (as applicable) for:
i. Lot 117,800,000 naira;
ii. Lot 2-4,500,000 naira;
iii. Lot 3-24,000,ooo naira;
iv. Lot 4 – 26,700,000 naira;
v. Lot 5-6,700,000 naira.
f. Evidence of experience with previous similar jobs (supply and delivery of seedings with values that add up to minimum of
i. Lot 1- 17,800,000 naira;
ii. Lot 2- 4,500,000 naira;
iii. Lot 3- 24,000,000naira;
iv. Lot 4- 26,700,000 naira;
v. Lot 5- 6,700,000 naira.
Only third-party evidence will be considered, not list of similar
For consederation, all interested bidders should submit the aforementioned documents only in hardcopies in a sealed envelope to GIZ Nigeria Office reception at No. 12 Charles de Gaulle Street, Asokoro, Abuja labelled:
“Expression of Interest 91178069”
Your complete documents should not be more than 20 pages. Only complete documents received at the physical address indicated not later than Friday, 26th January 2024 by 5pm will be accepted and considered.
The shortlist for the successful bidders will be separated based on expressed lots.
