INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION/INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY OF BRAND NEW TOYOTA FORTUNER (2023 MODEL)

INTRODUCTION
The Government of Jigawa State through the office of the permanent secretary Government House, Duste hereby invites to tender from reputable contractors for the procurement of 16No. Brand new Toyota Fortuner (2023 Model).

SCOPE OF THE WORK
Procurement of 16No. Brand new Toyota Fortuner (2023 Model).

TENDER REQUIREMENT
Interested and competent companies are required to submit their verifiable evidence, profiles including but not limited to the following documents;

  1. Certificate of Incorporation with Cooperate Affairs Commission
  2. Certificate true copy memorandum and article of association
  3. Evidence of registration with Jigawa State Works Registration Unit.
  4. Company audited accounts for the last one (1) year;
  5. Tax clearance for the last three years;
  6. Evidence of financial capability and banking support.
  7. Company average annual turnover of not less than Five Hundred Million Naira (N500, 000,000.00)
  8. Evidence of similar project executed (letter of award and completion certificate) at least three (3) in the last five (5) years.
  9. VAT registration and evidence of past remittance.
  10. That the company has fulfilled all obligations to pay taxes, pensions and social security contributions.
  11. A sworn affidavit certifying as follows:
    a. That the document submitted for pre-qualification exercise is not only genuine and correct.
    b. That none of the directors/partner of the company has been convicted by any court of law.
    c. That the company is not bankrupt.
    d. That none of the officers of Jigawa State/Local government is a present or former director of the company.
  12. Any other relevant information that will help in determining the company’s suitability for the work;
  13. Any prospective bidder that does not possess any of the above documents needs not apply.

COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Prospective bidders are required to collect the tender documents from the Director Administration and Finance Government House, Dutse from the date of publication of this advertisement between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm upon payment of non-refundable tender fee of Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira only (250,000.00) at account unit of the Government House.

SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Prequalification and financial bids should be submitted in two different sealed envelopes and labeled “prequalification bid” and “financial bid” respectively with the company’s name indicated on one side of the envelopes. Both envelopes should be sealed in to one envelope also sealed and marked with the project name at the top right hand corner and address to: The Permanent Secretary Government House, Office of the Executive Governor, Dutse, Jigawa State, not later than 21st February, 2024 by 12 noon.

All documents for submission must be transmitted with a forwarding letter dully signed by company representative under the company’s Letter Headed Paper bearing the CAC Registration Number (RC), Contact address, Telephone number (preferably GSM No) and e-mail address.

The Financial bid should contain a bid security of not less than 2% of the quoted bid by way of Bank guarantee or insurance bond issued by reputable bank or insurance company acceptable by the procuring entity.

The bid validity period should be 120 days from the deadline of the bid submission date.

OPENING OF BIDS
Bids will be opened immediately after the deadline for submission by 12:00pm at the conference Hall of Government House.

GENERAL INFORMATION
a) Bids submitted after the deadline for submission will be returned unopened.
b) Only financial bids of successful prequalified bidders will be opened; while those for the un-successful bidders will be returned unopened.
c) This advert shall not be construed as commitment on the part of the Government House by virtue of such company having responded to this advertisement;
d) All cost will be borne by the bidders as the Government House will not be held responsible for any cost or expenses incurred by any interested party i.e in connection with any response to this invitation
e) The Government House reserves the right to annul the procurement process or reject a bidder at any time without incurring any liabilities
f) Alternative bid will not be accepted
