BRISTOW HELICOPTERS NIGERIA LIMITED (BHNL)
INVITATION TO BID FOR THE AUCTION OF C65 MICROTURBINE POWER GENERATING EQUIPMENT SET (LIQUID PETROLEUM GAS)
1. The Bristow Helicopters Nigeria Limited (BHNL) intends to carry out the Auction of its Microturbine Power Generating set recently disengaged from the Alternative Power Supply Plant of Bristow Helicopters Nigeria Limited (BHNL) Base in Port Harcourt, Rivers State
2. The Turbine is built with four C65 propane DM INDPKG, UL, product code, Modbus, advanced power server translator for data recording, Advanced power server, dual port serial to ethernet converter kit for remote monitoring, sound hood, vaporizer skid, CRMS software, multipack cable and termination, Turbine power skid, isolation transformer switch gear and 60 Metric tons of LPG storage Tank. The Turbine makes use of clean energy, and it is fully loaded with 60 MT of LPG Gas as well. This Turbine is functional and ready for use.
3. BHNL now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Auction of its Microturbine Power Generating set with details information as indicated below:

- Weight: Grid Connect – 758 kg (1,671 lb); Dual Mode – 1,121 kg (2,471 lb)
- Net Heat Rate LHV: 12.4 MJ/kWh (11,800 BTU/kWh)
- Exhaust Temperature: 309ºC (588ºF)
- Exhaust Gas Flow: 0.49 kg/s (1.08 lb. m/s)
- Compatible Fuels: Natural Gas, Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel #2), Biogas (Landfill, Digester), Associated Gas, Sour Gas, Propane Gas

5. The winning bidder will be allowed a maximum of fifteen (15) days to make payment, and 30 days to remove the item from its location in the premises after which the bid security will be called in/invoked.
6. There will be a technical assessment visit, inspection of the power generating set at its present location (BRISTOW HELICOPTER NIGERIA LIMITED, NAF BASE, PHC, RIVERS STATE) from July 22nd to July 26th , 2024 (11.00am to 3pm daily). Site inspection will be coordinated by the Company representative.
7. Bids should be delivered in a sealed envelope and deposited in the
Procurement Department of the Bristow Helicopters Nigeria Limited, General Aviation Terminal, MMA, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.
8. Bids should be clearly marked “BIDS FOR THE AUCTION OF C65 MICROTURBINE POWER GENERATING SET, Do Not Open, Except in Presence of the Evaluation Committee” and submitted on or before 11.00 am on Friday, August 09th , 2024, at
the latest and should clearly indicate Price, Removal Period, Bid Validity Period (60 days).
9. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who
choose to attend (Via virtual meeting), on Monday, August 12th , 2024, at 11:30am.
