INVITATION TO TENDER FOR CONSTRUCTION OF AN INCINERATOR AND FENCE OF A PRIMARY HEALTHCARE CENTRE IN THE FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY, ABUJA
1. PREAMBLE
Bwari Area Council and WaterAid Nigeria with funding support from the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints Charities under the improving Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene services project in Primary Healthcare Centres hereby invite tenders from reputable and qualified companies for the rehabilitation of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene facilities in Kuchibuyi Primary Healthcare Centre at Bwari Area Council.
2. SCOPE OF WORK
- LOT 1: Construction of incinerator and fence at Kuchibuyi Primary Healthcare Centre.
3. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Companies interested in participating in the tendering process are to submit their company profiles which must contain the following:
i. Evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);
ii. Evidence of company audited financial account and Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years (2021 ,2022 & 2023)
iii. Evidence of registration with statutory bodies (PENCOM, NSITF, ITF, BPP)
iv. List of certified Board members showing their designation on the Board.
v. The forwarding letter submitting the bid documents should be signed by the Chairman of the Board or his alternate.
vi. Resume of key technical staff (Geologist or Hydrogeologist, Civil Engineer or Electro-Mechanical Engineer) stating their years of experience, relevant past work done, and evidence of membership of a professional body.
vii. Verifiable evidence of similar projects previously undertaken, including letters of awards and completion certificates within the past three (3) years, also, indicate the financial value of these similar projects;
viii. Certified copies of company bank statements in the last 6 months
ix. Description and list of relevant equipment owned by the company; including proof of ownership or lease or license over the equipment;
x. A work plan indicating how the work will be carried out from start to finish and the number of days required to complete the work.
xi. Evidence of site visits to the primary health care center in the form of photographic evidence.
xii. Evidence of registration with Bwari Area Council.
4. ACCESS AND SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS AND COMPANY PROFILES
Interested bidders are to visit the Procurement office of Bwari Area Council Secretariate, Abuja to access the bid documents or call the Director of Works with phone number 07031106595. A non-refundable administrative charge would be paid by all interested bidders to account details that would be provided by the procurement officer for Bwari Area Council.
Submission of tender documents shall commence from 25th June to 9th July 2024 between 9:30am to 3:30pm Monday to Fridays, except on public holidays. Completed tender documents and company profiles, which shall be in three copies (One original and Two Photocopies), containing spreadsheet copy of the completed BOQ and PDF copies of other bid documents are to be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the company’s Name, at the top left-hand corner, and addressed to:

Sealed envelopes should be dropped at the Bwari Area Council premises until 11:00am of 9th of July, 2024. Bid opening shall follow at noon of the same day at the conference Hall of Bwari Area Council Secretariat.
5. MANDATORY SITE VISIT
Mandatory visit to the sites must be carried out by all tenderers. This visit will take place within the tender period. Tenderers are to take potshots of the locations as evidence of compliance.
