INVITATION TO TENDER FOR CONSTRUCTION, REHABILITATION AND MAINTENANCE OF ROADS
In line with His Excellency Governor Umar Namadi fca 12 point Agenda among which is Urban Infrastructure and Rural Transformation. We wishes to refer to our invitation for pre-qualification of interested reputable Civil Engineering Construction Companies dated 25th May 2024 and announce the following companies to bids for the proposed roads Construction, Rehabilitation and maintenance projects across the State:

SCOPE OF WORKS:
The Scope of works includes but not limited to the following:
Clearance, Filling, Construction of Culverts and other hydraulic structures, provision of 150mm lateritic sub-base and base course on carriageway and shoulder, surface dressing/asphaltic concrete overlay, Drainages and associated Road furniture for the entire roads as per Bill of Engineering Measurement and Evaluation contained in the Bidding Documents.
4. COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENT
These companies are to visit Jigawa State procurement portal (https://jigawa- eproc.eurodyn.com/epps/home.do) to access and fill the bid documents after payment of non- refundable tender fee of Five Hundred thousand Naira (N 500,000.00) only per Lot to the Ministry of Works and Transport, Account details will be issued from the treasurer Department
5. SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENT
Company profile with a covering letter of company’s letter headed should be scanned and uploaded to the e-procurement portal (https://jigawa-eproc.eurodyn.com/epps/home.do) and submit online on or before 8th August, 2024. A scanned copy of bid security of not less than 2% of the bid price, either inform of Insurance Bond from the approved insurance firm by the jigawa state due process and project monitoring bureau or Bank Guarantee from any reputable commercial bank should also be uploaded into the portal (https://jigawa-eproc.eurodyn.com/epps/home.do). Similarly, the original of company Financial Bid signed by managing Director or Director in company’s letter headed with attached bills, bid security or insurance bond hard copy should be submitted to Director Procurement Ministry of Works and Transport, Block BQ4, New Secretariat Complex Dutse.
NOTE: All Bid Security or insurance should be original copy scan or photocopy will not be accepted. NOTE that all completed bids should be sent through Jigawa State E-procurement portal (https://jigawa-eproc.eurodyn.com/epps/home.do)
Note!
- The Ministry reserves the right to accept or reject any application at any time without incurring any liability.
- All expenses incurred as a result of preparation and submission of documents for this exercise shall be borne by the interested company (non-refundable fee). The Bid will be electronically opened on 8th August, 2024 by 12:00noon.
The financial bid should contain a bid security of not less than 2% of quoted bid, by way of a Bank guarantee or an insurance bond issued by a reputable Commercial Bank or insurance Firm acceptable to the procuring entity.
The bid validity period should be 120 days from the deadline of the bid submission date.
6. BID OPENING
Bid opening will take place online on 8th August, 2024 by 12:00noon.
Bids submitted after the deadline for submission will be returned un-opened;
i. This advert shall not be construed as commitment on the part of the Jigawa State Ministry of Works nor shall it entail a company to make any claim(s) whatsoever and /or to seek any indemnity by virtue of such company having responded to this advertisement;
ii. The Ministry reserves the right to annul the procurement process or reject a bidder at any time without incurring any liabilities;
iii. Bidders with the same subsidiary relationship are not allowed to partake in the same lot.
