INVITATION TO TENDER FOR PROJECTS EXECUTION

1.0 INTRODUCTION
The Kebbi State Government through State Universal Basic Education Board in compliance with public Procurement Act 2007 wishes to invite, intended, reputable and competent contractors to submit tender for UBEC/SUBEB/ 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th Quarter 2023 Intervention Projects.

2.0 THE SCOPE OF THE WORK ARE:
The scope of the work are generally civil works and supplies which includes Construction of Classrooms, Toilets, Block work wall fence, Drainages, Supply and Distribution of ECCDE play equipment, Pupils/Teachers furnitures and ICT materials which covered 21 L.G.E.A’s and are generally categorized as in the following lots;

  • Lot: 1&1 – Construction of 2 block of 4 classroom & toilet with terrazzo floor Finishing Lot 1 to Lot 7-Construction of 8 block of 17 classroom, office, store & toilet with terrazzo floor finishing
  • Lot 1 to Lot 7: Construction of 7 block of 14 classroom, office, store & toilet with terrazzo floor finishing
  • Lot 2 to Lot 9: Construction of 8 block of 17 classroom, office, store & toilet with terrazzo floor finishing
  • Lot 2 to Lot 5: Construction of 5 block of 11 classroom, office, store & toilet with Terrazzo floor finishing
  • Lot 6: Construction of a Block of 3 compartment WC Toilet
  • Lot 7 to Lot 11: Construction of 5 Block of perimeter wall fence
  • Lot 12 to Lot 13: Construction of 2 Blockwork Drainage
  • Lot 10 to Lot 38: Renovation of 33 Block of 70 Classroom
  • Lot 08 to Lot 35: Renovation of 28 Block of 59 Classroom Lot 10 to Lot 34 Renovation of 25 Block of 56 Classroom
  • Lot 14 to Lot 26: Renovation of 13 Block of 28 Classroom
  • Lot 39 to Lot 41: Drilling of 6,000 Litre of motorized borehole and 2 repair
  • Lot 36 to Lot 37: Drilling of 6,000 Litre of motorized borehole 2 and 2 repair
  • Lot 35 to Lot 38: Drilling of 6,000 Litre & 10,000 litre of motorized borehole and 21 Repair Lot 27 to Lot 29 Repairs of 3 motorized borehole
  • Lot 30 to Lot 31: Provision of ICT facilities
  • Lot 38 & Lot 32: Supply & Distribution of 4 set of ECCDE play Equipment and 24 set of ECCDE plastic furniture
  • Lot 42 to Lot 47: Supply & distribution of 975 units of 3 seaters steel framed pupils furniture and 71 set of teacher’s furniture
  • Lot 32: Supply & distribution of 215 units of 3 seater steel framed pupils furniture and 26 set of teachers furniture

3.0 BIDDING REQUIREMENTS
I. Evidence of Registration with corporate Affairs Commission
II. Reliable list of similar work executed (Award letter and certificate of completion (photocopy)
III. Tax clearance certificate for the past three year (2020, 2021 and 2022)
IV. Evidence of VAT registration/VAT remittance
V. Technical capability of the company
VI. Audited Financial statement of Account for the last three years (2020, 2021 and 2022)
VII. Sworn Affidavit;

  • disclose whether or not any officer from relevant committee from Kebbi State Universal Basic Education Board is a former or present Director, Shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and to confirm that all information presented in the bid is true and correct in all particulars;
  • That the company does not have any director who has been convicted in any country for any criminal offences;
  • That the company is not in receivership, insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings.

5.0 COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
The tender document will be available for collection upon the payment of non-refundable fee of N 10,000.00 only.

6.0 SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENT
Tenders are to be deposited in the tender box at the Board Headquarters SUBEB No. 1 DUKKU BARRACK’S ROAD, PMB 1101 BIRNI -KEBBI, KEBBI STATE from 24th JULY, to 7th August, 2024 between 8:00am – 12:00pm immediately. The tender’s document should be clearly addressed to The Executive chairman attention to the:
HEAD OF PROCUREMENT UNIT,
KEBBI STATE UNIVERSAL BASIC EDUCATION BOARD,
No.1 DUKKU BARRACK’S ROAD, PMB 1101 BIRNIN -KEBBI, KEBBI STATE.

7.0 GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Tender submitted after the deadline of the submission will be returned unopen. Kebbi SUBEB will not be liable for improper submission or unregistered tenders. No bidder should go for more than two lot.
  • Only the pre-qualified bidders at technical evaluation will be invited at a later date for financial bids opening, while the financial bids of un-successful bidders will be returned un-opened.
  • The Kebbi State Universal Basic Education Board is not bound to pre-qualify any bidder and reserves the right to annul the Procurement process at any time without incurring any liabilities in accordance with Section 28 of the Public Procurement Act 2007.
