TAIMAKO COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE (TCDI)
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE REHABILITATION OF EXISTING NON FUNCTIONING WATER BOREHOLES AND CONSTRUCTION OF NEW SOLAR POWERED BOREHOLES, CONSTRUCTION OF SANITATION FACILITIES, AND OTHER HYGIENE PROMOTION ACTIVITIES

Taimako Community Development Initiative (TCDI) is supporting the population with critical WASH and protection services. Communities will be reached with access to safe and sufficient water through rehabilitation of existing non functioning water boreholes and construction of new Solar Powered boreholes, construction of sanitation facilities, and other hygiene promotion activities. Also, TCDI will be providing protection services across the targeted locations. Applications are invited for: Title: Request for EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) Reference Monday 17th of July, 2024 Subject: Prequalification of vendors/contractors for the construction, rehabilitation and Supplies at Damaturu Yobe State.

The project Contract Packages are as follows;

1. Construction of Hybrid solar powered borehole

2. Rehabilitation of Solar Powered Borehole

3. Construction of Blocks Latrine

4. Construction of incinerators

5. Procurement of Office Furniture

6. Procurement and Supply of Waste Bin

7. Procurement of Tool Box or Borehole Operation

8. Procurement of Latrine Cleaning Kits

9. Supply of Equipment for Canal Cleaning and PPE for CATI Response

10. Supply of Material for refurbishment of Canal

11. Supply of Mobile phones – Tabs

12. Supply of Non-food Items NFIs

13. Supply of Medical Equipments

14. Supply of Food Items

15. Supply of business start-up kits.

16. Supply of project management software

Background

  • TCDI is currently in the process of prequalifying contracting firms with substantial presence and extensive experience within Northeast Nigeria, for the contractual activities on the components mentioned above. The contracting firms will be working under the direction of the TCDI field team and supervised by a technical team consisting of senior members from any of these agencies; WASH Cluster, RUWASA, LGA WASH UNIT, MoWR, and WASHCOMs trained by TCDI.
