The African Field Epidemiology Network (AFENET) is a not-for-profit networking and service organization dedicated to improving health outcomes of the communities we serve in liaison with ministries of health and other partners. Established in 2005 with our Secretariat in Kampala, Uganda, we have presence in over 40 countries.

The African Field Epidemiology Network (AFENET) is in the process of pre-qualifying suppliers and contractors for the provision of goods and services listed below for the period September 2024 to August 2027. Current supplier and services provider who wish to be retained in the register are also encouraged to apply.

Kindly note that all soft copies must be duly uploaded as indicated using the link above. All hard copies must be submitted in sealed envelopes to AFENET Procurement Committee and deposited in the “Procurement Box” at

All vendors that submit copies must sign on the Procurement Register. Prospective vendors can only submit either soft copy using the designated link OR a physical/hard copy using the address above as instructed.

Applicants are encouraged to carefully read through the form and complete accordingly. Any blank space left in the form, may signify inability to provide required services.

A prospective vendor having any questions relating to this expression of Interest (EOI) should contact the following email procurement@afenet.net before the due date and time of submission of EOI.

AFENET will respond to questions it receives prior to the due date for the submission of the EOI

AFENET may require the inspection of vendor’s business premises as part of the prequalification exercise.
The code and category applied for should be clearly indicated on the registration form.

Compulsory documents to be included:
1. CAC registration certificate
2. Form CAC2
3. Detailed Company Profile
4. Current Tax Clearance
5. VAT registration
6. Current 3-year audited financials (applicable to limited companies only)
7. Documented proof of at least 3 successful similar jobs completed within the last 5 years

Due date and time for submission of interest

• Submissions must be received by AFENET not alter than the due date and time as shown above. AFENET may at its discretion extend the due date and time for submission of RFQ by amending this solicitation.
• Any submission received by AFENET after the due date and time indicated will be rejected.

Language:
The expression of interest, as well as all correspondence and document relating to the offer shall be in English

Additional notes:

• AFENET is not obliged to prequalify vendors by issued this solicitation. AFENET can only prequalify vendors that met the criteria and whose business dealings is determined to be most advantageous to AFENET
• AFENET has a right to withdraw or change this EOI at any time. Vendors submissions are done at their cost and expenses with an obligation on the part of AFENET.
• This vendor prequalification will be governed by AFENET Procurement Policy and Procedure.
• Vendors can indicate interest in more than one category of business. However, they must submit different applications for each category of interest.
