REQUEST FOR QUOTATION FOR MEDICAL CONSUMABLES SUPPLIES

We are seeking proposals from qualified and interested Medical Consumables Suppliers for the provision of medical supplies for her activities in Katsina as per the scope below:
A. SCOPE OF WORK
On single-request basis, the supplier(s) will provide standard and quality medical consumables.
The type of medical supplies to be provided should be appropriate to the specifications in the quotation, therefore we are asking for a full price list of all listed medical consumables to be provided by the Supplier(s). Please be aware that prices will be set at the quoted unit price of preferred vendor services with the selected Contractor (s)
B. SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT
The Medical Consumables supplier(s) will be expected to provide top-quality consumables that meet standard requirements. Additionally, the selected medical consumables provider must ensure timely delivery of these consumables to the FINDEF office as per the specified timeframe.
The suppliers will ensure the provision of medical consumables as required by FINDEF.
- The purchase of medical consumables should be of standard quality and meet all regulatory standards.
- All consumables must have a sufficient shelf life. Specify that items should not be expired or near expiration at the time of delivery.
- Ensure all medical consumables come with up-to-date certifications, licenses, and authorizations required for their usage. Verify the consumables’ compliance with local and international health standards.
- Ensure all medical consumables are provided in suitable quantities and are ready for immediate use.
- Provide detailed invoices and documentation for all consumables purchases. Ensure clarity in the cost breakdown terms.
Quotes submitted shall be reviewed based on the completeness and compliance of the quotation with the minimum specifications described above.
The quotation that complies with all the specifications, and requirements and offers the lowest price, quality, past performance, and validity period of the quoted price, amongst others shall be selected. Any offer that does not meet the requirements shall be rejected.
Any discrepancy between the unit price and the total price (obtained by multiplying the unit price and quantity) shall be re-computed by FINDEF. The unit price shall prevail and the total
price shall be corrected. If the supplier does not accept the final price based on FINDEF’s re-computation and correction of errors, its quotation will be rejected.
FINDEF has zero tolerance for all forms of corrupt practices including but not limited to bribery, kickbacks, collusion, corruption, extortions, and facilitation payments. All costs associated with the preparation and submission of the tender/quotes by the bidders shall be borne by the bidders. Such cost cannot be recovered from FINDEF by the bidders. Also, FINDEF is not under any obligation to consider any tender submitted and FINDEF reserves the right to cancel or discontinue the tender without informing the bidders.
