REQUEST FOR QUOTATION FOR PROVISION OF CAR HIRE SERVICES

BACKGROUND
Jhpiego Corporation, an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University, is an international non-profit, non-governmental organization that works to improve the health of women and families throughout the world.

Jhpiego Corporation is seeks reputable and reliable car hire services companies to provide car hire services in Bauchi, Gombe, Ekiti, Kebbi, Jigawa state and Abuja (Federal Capital Territory).

The vendor should provide the most competitive rates for their services that will be valid for the next twelve (12) months. Interested vendors are encouraged to read the entire document to ensure that they have a clear understanding of Jhpiego Corporation requirements before submitting a bid.

1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
Car hire services in all states (listed above) and Abuja (Federal Capital Territory) inclusive of all local government areas (LGA) using the capital as a take-off point.

QUOTATION SHOULD INCLUDE;

  • Airport drop and pick
  • Hourly rate (pick and drop off inclusive within the states listed above and Abuja)
  • Rate from Jhpiego offices to each LGA within the states listed above and Abuja
  • Full-day rate with the states listed above and Abuja
  • Interstate rates (to all state capitals in Nigeria)

2. QUOTATION SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • The quotation should be enclosed in a plain sealed envelope, with the item being quoted for written boldly on the right-hand side of the envelope.
  • Proof or license to offer required services as given by the responsible regulatory body (if applicable)
  • Quote must be valid for the next 12 months
  • Payments terms if different (preferably Net 30 days).

3. ELIGIBILITY
All applicants should provide the following

  • Certificate of registration/incorporate, memorandum and articles of association and valid tax identification number (TIN)
  • Vendor must be a licenced/authorized vendor for services to be rendered (please provide supporting documentation)
  • Company profile (briefly reflecting the core competencies, and key management personnel and clearly stating the physical verifiable office address, mobile number, and e-mail address)
  • Proof of or licence to offer required services as given by the appropriate regulatory body (if applicable).
  • Minimum of three (3) reputable references active withing the last three (3) years from clients/organizations
  • Note that applicable government taxes will be deducted before making payments for items supplied.
