  1. The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Agro Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscape Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the PROCUREMENT OF 2NO., 4X4 WHEEL DRIVE VANS, 1NO. SUV JEEP AND 16SEATER BUS
  2. The Kano State Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, represented by the State Project Management Unit (SPMU) of the Agro Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscape Project (ACRESAL), now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the PROCUREMENT OF 2NO., 4X4 WHEEL DRIVE VANS, 1NO. SUV JEEP AND 16 SEATER BUS
  3. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Barrowers (Procurement Regulations Fifth Edition, September, 2023.
  4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the State Project Management Unit at NO. 229 Kofar Kansakaali Behind Goron Dutse Hills, Old WRECA Office, Kano State and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 10:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday, except on Public Days.
  5. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000.00) The method of payment will be Bank draft or Bank Transfer via this account number: 1219362741, Bank Name: Zenith Bank, account name: Kano Mins of Environ-ACRESAL Counterpart. The document will be collected at the address below in Hard Copy or Electronically transmitted upon request.

Qualifications requirements include:

  • Audited Financial Statements for the last three (3) years to demonstrate the financial capability of the Bidder in terms of Profitability and adequate working capital.
  • Have a minimum of Three (3) similar supplies of at least N700 Million satisfactorily or substantially completed as prime supplier between January 1, 2018 and the submission deadline.
  • The qualifying contracts must be in supply of heavy earthmoving equipment or related to the assignment.
  • Minimum average annual turnover in supply of at least N1 Billion in the last three (3) years. After Sales services facility center in Nigeria.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12:00noon 28th August, 2024. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below
