INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR SHORT-LISTING FOR CONSTRUCTION AGENCY/JOINT VENTURE/CONSORTIUM FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ADDITIONAL RESIDENCES IN THE EXISTING CHANCERY CUM RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX OF HIGH COMMISSION OF INDIA IN ABUJA, NIGERIA ON DESIGN AND BUILD MODE (ON A FIXED LUMP SUM PRICE)
High Commission of India, located at 364 Cadastral Zone, Central Business District (CBD), off Constitution Avenue, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from Construction Agency/Joint Ventures/ Consortium, henceforth referred to as Applicants’, for short listing in respect of the project construction of additional residences in the existing Chancery cum Residential Complex of High Commission of India in Abuja, Nigeria. The following indicative activities will need to be undertaken by the selected Applicant:
Overall planning, design and construction of the project which shall include architectural design, landscaping, complete Interiors & furniture, other associated services including but not limited to electrical, MEP, plumping, sewage, drainage, water supply etc. Obtaining all mandatory urban planning/Local Municipal approvals, architectural design clearances, or any other permits from relevant Ministries and Departments of Federal Government of Nigeria and Federal Capital Territory Administration of Abuja, Nigeria, including any other local authorities, as may be required. Demolition of existing structures if any. Construction of building/buildings/complex including interiors, furniture & furnishings, Testing and commissioning of all electrical & MEP equipment on completion of project and obtain Occupancy certificates.
2. The built-up area of the proposed additional construction is approximated to be 800 sqm.

4. EOI with all enclosures, including scanned PDF copy in CD/DVD/USB needs to be submitted to the High Commission of India, Abuja, on or before 1700 Hours on 11 October 2024. Late submissions will be summarily rejected.
5. Applicants with 10 years of professional experience registered with the appropriate statutory authorities and permitted to take up similar projects on Design and build mode in Nigeria, are requested to submit documents for evaluation of their eligibility. Eligible applicants will be further evaluated through a two-step process and will be ranked for short listing up to a maximum of 8 Applicants. 6. As the next step of the process, shortlisted Applicants will be given the RFP of the Project for submission of their respective Proposal and Financial Proposal for selection of Construction Agency/Joint Venture/Consortium on Design & Build mode.
