The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Procurement Of 2no. Bulldozer, Lowbed And 2no. Grader for Creating Rural Access Roads for Farmers.
The Ministry of Water Resources, Environment and Climate Change, represented by the Benue State Project Coordination Unit (SPMU) of Agro-Climatic Resilience in Arid and Semi-Arid Landscapes Project now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the procurement of the following goods:

Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” September 2023 fifth Edition (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Benue State Project Coordination Unit (SPMU) of Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes Project (ACReSAL) and inspect the bidding document during office hours i.e. 09:00 to 17:00 hours at the address given below.

5. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of One Hundred and Twenty-five Thousand Naira (NGN125,000). The method of payment will be Bank draft in favor of The Project Coordinator, Benue State – Nigeria Agro-Climatic Resilience in Arid and Semi-Arid Landscapes Project or pay directly into this bank account; Benue State ACReSAL, Polaris Bank, Account Number: 4060015438 and bring the payment evidence to the address below. The bidding document will be sent to the bidder by email or courier on request at the cost of the bidder.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 11:00 am Friday, December 6, 2024. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 11:00 am Friday, December 6, 2024.

7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security as stated in the table above in paragraph 2.

8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
