REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR INSTALLATION OF SOLAR POWERED BOREHOLE

Finpact Development Foundation (FINDEF) is an Indigenous non-governmental organization.
Our focus is on delivering lasting value through our work, making us trusted advisors to all our partners.
We are seeking proposals from qualified and interested Solar-powered Borehole construction companies for the construction of solar-powered boreholes for her activities in Kofar Durbi Katsina State as per the scope below:
A. SCOPE OF WORK
The contractor(s) will provide standard and quality materials and services for constructing a solar-powered borehole on a single-request basis. The specifications for the borehole system, including solar panels, pumps, storage tanks, and associated infrastructure, must meet the outlined requirements in the project quotation.
We request a comprehensive price list for all materials and services related to the construction of the solar-powered borehole. Please ensure that all prices reflect the quoted unit costs from preferred vendor services with the selected contractor(s).
B. SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT
The installation consisted of 270W solar panels (14 pieces), a 3.7KW inverter, and a 2.2KW water pump.
Quotes submitted shall be reviewed based on the completeness and compliance of the quotation with the minimum specifications described above.
The quotation that complies with all of the specifications, and requirements and offers the lowest price, quality, past performance, and validity period of the quoted price, amongst others shall be selected. Any offer that does not meet the requirements shall be rejected.
Any discrepancy between the unit price and the total price (obtained by multiplying the unit price and quantity) shall be re-computed by FINDEF. The unit price shall prevail and the total price shall be corrected. If the supplier does not accept the final price based on FINDEF’s recomputation and correction of errors, its quotation will be rejected.
FINDEF has zero tolerance for all forms of corrupt practices including but not limited to bribery, kickbacks, collusion, corruption, extortions, and facilitation payments. All costs associated with the preparation and submission of the tender/quotes by the bidders shall be borne by the bidders. Such cost cannot be recovered from FINDEF by the bidders.
Also, FINDEF is not under any obligation to consider any tender submitted and FINDEF reserves the right to cancel or discontinue the tender without informing the bidders.
