KWARA STATE MINISTRY OF WATER RESOURCES
INVITATION TO TENDER FOR PROJECTS EXECUTION
1. INTRODUCTION
The Kwara State Ministry of Water Resources is proposing to rehabilitate Oyun waterworks, and Otte/budo-egba waterworks, in Oyun and Asa local government areas of Kwara state respectively. Thus, interested, reputable and competent contractors with relevant experiences and good track records are hereby invited to submit bids for the rehabilitation of Oyun and Otte/Budo-egba waterworks.
2. SCOPE OF WORKS
The rehabilitation works for Oyun Waterworks include; replacement of the low lift pump, evacuation of the sedimentation tanks, filtration and backwashing system supply and installation of transformer, replacement of the chemical dosing units and repair materials for burst pipes within the town
The rehabilitation works for otte/budo-egba waterworks include: drilling of industrial boreholes, installation of solar system; installation of transformer and extension and distribution of water pipelines within the town
3. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
i. Evidence of certificate of Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
ii. Evidence of Company’s Income Tax Clearance Certificate for the Last three (3) years
iii. Evidence of current pension compliance Clearance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2024
iv. Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Compliance Certificate Valid till 31st December, 2024
v. Evidence of current Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Clearance Certificate Valid till 31st December 2024;
vi. Evidence of registration company with Kwara State Public Procurement Agency in the appropriate category
vii. Company audited accounts for the last three (3) years (2021, 2022, 2023)
viii. Evidence of Financial capability by submission of reference letter from a reputable commercial bank in Nigeria
ix. Company’s profile with Curriculum Vitae of key Staff including their Academic and Professional Qualifications
x. Verifiable documentary evidence of at least three (3) similar jobs executed in the last five (5) years including Letters of awards, Valuation Certificates, Job Completion Certificates, etc.
4. SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Prospective bidders are expected to submit bids in two (2) hard copies each of the technical and financial bids packaged separately in sealed envelopes and clearly marked as ‘technical bid’ of ‘financial bids’ thereafter, put the two sealed envelopes in a bigger sealed envelope addressed to:

And clearly marked with (the name of the project)
Furthermore, the sealed envelopes should bear the name and address of the company and dropped in the designated tender box located at:

Ilorin
Not later than 12pm on Monday 18th November, 2024 (two weeks)
5. OPENING OF BIDS
The bid documents will be opened immediately after the deadline for submission at 12pm of Monday 18th November 2024 in the conference room of the ministry,

6. GENERAL INFORMATION
a) Bids must be in English language and signed by an official authorized by the company;
b) Bids submitted after the deadline for submission would be returned un-opened
c) All costs will be borne by the bidders
d) Bidders can submit through post (courier services)
e) Arrangement of technical documents in hard copies should follow the order in the list above and appropriately paged. the technical documents should have a table of content indicating the pages, which these items are to be found
f) The kwara state ministry of water resources is not bound to accept any bidder and reserves the right to annul the procurement process at any time without incurring liabilities in accordance with section 38 of the kwara state public procurement law, no 7 of process at any time without incurring liabilities in accordance with section 38 of the kwara state public procurement law, no. 7 of 2018 as amended
