The Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC) has received financing from the African Development Bank toward the cost of the Investment Planning for Climate Resilient Socio-Economic Growth in the Lake Chad Basin (PIBALT) and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this grant to payments under the contract for development of a five-year investment plan for the Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC).
The services included under this project are (1) Evaluation of the implementation of the first SAP of the LCBC and (2) Preparation of the second Five Year Investment Plan (FYIP).
The duration of the service is seven (07) months from the date of notification of start of the service established by the Project Coordinator.
The Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC) now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Rules and Procedures for the use of Consultants October 2015 edition, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
