INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF COMMERCIAL PLAZA ON A BUILD, OPERATE AND TRANSFER BASIS AT AMINU DANTATA TRADE FAIR COMPLEX ZOO ROAD KANO, NIGERIA

1. INTRODUCTION
The Kano Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KACCIMA) is desirous of developing some part of its landed property located at Aminu Dantata Trade Fair Complex, Off Zoo Road, Kano on a Build Operate and Transfer (BOT) basis by entering into a business relationship with reputable and interested investors/developers.
2. SCOPE OF WORKS
The scope of the works is the construction and management of commercial shops in a prime commercial location, Off Zoo Road, Kano. The proposed commercial development is a two-story building of various types of shops. The shops will be serviced by power, water, ICT connectivity, etc.
Application are hereby invited from reputable and interested companies with similar experience and good track record of performance for Expression of Interest (EOI) in the following projects:

3. REQUIREMENTS
The prospective investors are expected to demonstrate financial, legal and technical competence to undertake the project immediately. The project is expected to be fully financed by the investors/developers.
The submission of Expression of Interest (EOI) should include but not limited to the following:
a) Full name of the company, address, phone number and email address of the contact person.
b) Evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
c) Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Company.
d) Comprehensive profile of the company.
e) Verifiable evidence previous/ongoing similar ventures/project.
f) Evidence of registration with relevant bodies.
g) Evidence of technical and financial capability.
h) Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years ending December 2024.
4. SUBMISSION
All submission for the EOIs should be in three copies sealed in envelope clearly marked “KACCIMA Commercial Development” and submitted to the Director General, KACCIMA, Aminu Dantata Trade Fair Complex, Off Zoo Road, Kano.
Upon receipt of the Expression of Interest (EOI) from interested investors/developers, the project consultant will evaluate and only pre-qualified bidders will be invited to submit their Outline Business Case (OBC) in line with the Chamber’s Mission.
The pre-qualified bidders will purchase bid documents at the cost of ₦100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Naira Only) as non-refundable fee for each Lot. Payment should be made into KACCIMA Account Number-0004375400 at Sterling Bank Plc.
Deadline for submission is two weeks from the date of this publication.

1. That this advertisement shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of the KACCIMA to deal with any bidder.
2. That the design drawings are available for inspection at the office of the Director General of the Chamber.
3. That KACCIMA is neither committed nor obliged to shortlist any investor/developer or award any part of the project to any firm.
4. That KACCIMA reserves the right to reject any or all Expression of Interest (EOI0 documents or package.
5. That all completed Expression of Interest (EOI) are to be submitted to the Director General KACCIMA.
6. That all further enquiries should be directed to the Director General of KACCIMA.
