INVITATION FOR TENDER FOR 1ST AND 2ND QUARTERS OF YEAR 2024 UNIVERSAL BASIC EDUCATION INTERVENTION FGN/UBEC/SUBEB/PROJECTS.
INTRODUCTION:
The Kwara State Government through Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB) has received approval to implement the 1st and 2nd Quarters of year 2024 FGN/UBEC/SUBEB projects.
2. In compliance with Public Procurement Act 2017 the Board wishes to invite interested, registered, competent, capable and reputable contractors to submit tender documents and maintaining the rules of one bid per bidders for Product in the categories as listed below:
i. Lot 1. Construction of Block of two classrooms with office -70 classrooms with 35 offices.
ii. Lot 2. Construction of VIP toilet -28Locations
iii. Lot 3. Remodeling of Classrooms -110 classrooms
iv. Lot 4. Fabrication of Pupils & Teachers Furniture -4652/391 Units
v. Lot 5. Drilling & Installation of Motorized Solar Borehole-11Locations
vi. Lot 6. Procurement of Brand new Toyota Hiace 18 Seater Bus (2023 Model ) For Quality Assurance Directorate-1 Number
vii. Lot 7. ECCDE plastic chairs and Tables (Sample available at procurement unit of KWSUBEB for inspection -170 sets
viii. Lot 8. Safe school initiative of selected schools in Asa, Kalama, Offa, Ilorin East and Ilorin South LGAs.
3. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Interested contractors/suppliers should submit their company profile in addition to the following documents.
a) Certificate of incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission.
b) Evidence of Registration/Renewal ads Contractor with KWSUBEB.
c) Evidence of Registration/Renewal as Contractor with Kwara State Ministry of Works and Transport.
d) Evidence of Three (3) Years Current Company Tax Clearance i.e 2022,2023 and 2024.
e) Evidence of Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December 2024.
f) Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance trust Fund Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December 2024.
g) PENCOM Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December 2024
h) Evidence of registration on National Database of Federal Contractor, Consultants and Service providers by submission on Interim Registration Report (IRR) expiring on 31st December, 2024.
i) Company audited account for the last 3 years i.e. 2022, 2023 and 2024.
j) Verifiable documents evidence of at least 3 similar jobs executed in the last 3 years including letter of award, evaluation certificate, job completion certificate and photograph of the projects.
k) VAT registration and evidence of VAT remittance
l) Evidence of financial capability and bank supporting reference
m) Equipment and technology capacity with evidence of ownership or lease.
n) Evidence of payment of appropriate non-refundable tender fee of N10,000.00 only.
SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
2 copies of completed Tender documents in wax-sealed envelope marked Tender Documents under Lots……” written on the right corner of the sealed envelope must be delivered by hand before 12noon, on Wednesday 30th April, 2025 (6weeks duration from the date of advert) to Tender Secretary Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB), Lajorin Street P.M.B 1404, Ilorin Kwara State Nigeria.
BID OPENING
The tender documents will be opened in the presence of the bidders making submission or their representatives with evidence of legal existence at Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB) premises at 12noon prompt, on Wednesday 30th April, 2025.

a. Contractors are advised to collect company profile format from the office of the Director, Physical Planning, Kwara SUBBB during office hours
b. The project’s directorate reserve the right to verify any claim by potential bidders
c. Contractors are advised to collect tender documents from the office of Director, Physical Planning Kwara SUBEB Headquarters, Ilorin
d. These advertisement of invitation to tender cannot be construed to mean the commitment on the part of the Board to award any form of contract to any company
e. Defaulting contractors with Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB) that are yet to complete their projected need not to tender
