KATSINA STATE AGRICULTURAL MECHANIZATION CENTRE
IN COLLABORATION WITH KATSINA STATE DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT BOARD (KTDMB)
CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF AGRICULTURAL MECHANIZATION CENTRES (AMCs) ACROSS THE 34 LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREAS (LGAs)

The Katsina State Government, through the Agricultural Development Programmes Unit (ADPU), Governor’s Office, invites qualified and experienced firms to express interest in partnering with the State to manage Agricultural Mechanization Centres (AMCs) across the 34 Local Government Areas (LGAs).

Objectives are to:

  • Ensure the effective management and delivery of mechanized agricultural services to farmers,
  • Boost productivity and rural development through sustainable public-private partnerships.

Scope of Responsibilities:

Selected firms will be responsible for:

  1. Day-to-day operations of assigned AMC(s).
  2. Management of the Centres and agricultural machinery provided by the State Government.
  3. Provision of farm mechanization services (e.g. land preparation, planting, harvesting, etc.) to farmers within their assigned LGA(s).
  4. Additional responsibilities as may be outlined in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) or Agreement (MoA) jointly developed and signed by both parties.

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested firms must:

  • Be legally registered in Nigeria.
  • Demonstrate proven experience in managing agricultural or related service operations.
  • Show evidence of technical and human capacity to deliver farm mechanization services.
  • Have a presence in, or capacity to operate within, the LGA(s) of interest.
  • Provide references or evidence of past similar engagements (if available).

How to Apply:

  • Firms should submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) clearly stating:
  • Name of firm and contact information.
  • Areas/LGAs of interest (if any preference).
  • Brief company profile, highlighting relevant experience and capacity.
  • Evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
  • Any supporting documents or references.
