EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE SUPPLY OF AGRICULTURAL INPUTS KITS FOR NRC PARTICIPANTS IN ADAMAWA STATE

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an independent, humanitarian, non-profit, non-governmental organization providing assistance, protection and durable solutions to refugees and internally displaced people worldwide.

NRC has been working in Nigeria since 2014, providing aid in the fields of WASH & Shelter, LFS, ICLA, Protection against violence and Education.

The NRC Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) proposes a targeted intervention to provide agricultural input kits for NRC participants in Adamawa State.

NRC will implement restricted vouchers as a modality to enable the target participant to purchase agricultural input kits for dry season agriculture. The project participant can redeem voucher for items which are a predefined on the below list:

Bill of quantities for the above mentioned items can be found on annex 1.
The delivery of agricultural input kits for NRC participants in Adamawa State.

The main criteria for selecting suppliers will be :

• Competitive prices
• The quality of the goods and the traders/agents and seller’s storage capacity
• Compliance with legal requirements (CAC+ Tax clearance for year 2023/2024)
• Availability of goods on the traders/agents and sellers’ stores
• Payment conditions / requirements (Payment by cheque or bank transfer)
• Performance and experience within the relevant category
• A locally represented company, dealer and agents with a store in Numan, Yola South, Michika and Madagali.

The office of the Norwegian Refugee Council in Nigeria invites interested vendors/companies to express their interest by completing the price collection forms free of charge at the NRC office located at Yola and Mubi in Adamawa State, Dossiers containing the price collection forms and the vendors/companies’ administrative documents must be completed and submitted in hard copy and by hand in sealed envelopes and placed in a locked tender box in the logistics office at the NRC Office in Yola and Mubi; they must clearly indicate the reference of the publication for which the bids are being submitted.

The closing date for submission is 26th May 2025 at 10 :00 a.m local time.

A withdrawal and deposit register must be signed by bidders at the time of withdrawal and deposit of the vendor’s price collection forms.

Applications that are incomplete (completed forms + supporting documents) or submitted late will be automatically rejected and will not be considered by the NRC selection committee.

The Norwegian Refugee Council reserves the right to accept or reject any non-conforming application and is not obliged to give reasons for its decision.

The selection committee reserves the right to request additional information from bidders and to visit their facilities before short-listing them.

Questions of technical clarification may be addressed to the NRC Logistics Office in Adamawa before the publication closing date.

The NRC Nigeria will discuss with the selected suppliers on the distribution methods once the award process is completed.

Any communication between a bidder and NRC concerning issues of alleged fraud or corruption should be made and addressed to speak-up@nrc.no
