SOLICITATION SPECIFICATIONS
The Service: SDN is seeking reputable companies to supply agricultural inputs and train farmers on climate-smart agriculture.
1. Agricultural inputs
- Supply of 1,200 bundles of cassava stems
- 15 backpack slashers
- 60 cassava root lifters
- 60 20-litre knapsack sprayers
- 450 litres of systemic herbicides
- 600 litres of contact herbicides
- 80 bags of Hybrid pepper seeds
- Starch content analyser
- Delivery and distribution of inputs
2. Climate-Smart Agricultural (CSA) Training
Conduct a three-day CSA training course for 120 farmers in target communities with a focus on post-harvest management.
Delivery and training Locations: Bayelsa State (Agbia and Gbarantoru communities in Yenagoa LGA), and Delta State (Ohero Community).
