1. CONSTRUCTION OF 4 INCINERATORS IN ZARIA, KAWA, ZANGO T/WADA KADUNA, AND KAFANCHAN ABATTOIRS.
2. CONSTRUCTION OF 4 BIOGESTERS IN ZARIA, KAWA, ZANGO T/WADA KADUNA, AND KAFANCHAN ABATTOIRS.

The Kaduna State Government through the Federal Government of Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association (herein referred to as IDA) towards the cost of livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (LPRES) Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to eligible payments under the contracts for the Construction of:

a. Construction of 4 Incinerators in Zaria, Kawa, Zango T/Wada, Kaduna and Kafanchan Abattoirs.
b. Construction of 4 Biogesters in Zaria, Kawa, Zango T/Wada Kaduna, and Kafanchan Abattoirs.

The Kaduna State Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (LPRES) Project is now inviting sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Construction of:

Lot 1: Construction of 4 of Incinerators in: Zaria, Kawa, Zango T/Wada Kaduna, and Kafanchan Abattoirs.
Lot 2: Construction of 4 Biogesters in: Zaria, Kawa, Zango T/Wada Kaduna, and Kafanchan Abattoirs.

as described below:

1. Bidding will be conducted through the Request for Bids (RFB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines for Procurement of Civil Works under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and is open to all bidders from eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding document at the Kaduna State Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (LPRES) Project at the address given below from 10:00hrs to 16:00hrs, Mondays through Thursdays.

2. Qualification requirements include:
i) Average annual financial capacity of the last 3 years
ii) Experience as contractor carrying out least two Projects of similar nature and complexity over the last 3 years (to comply with this requirement, the work cited should be at least 90% complete)
iii) Availability of essential equipment (own, lease, hire, etc.) as listed in the Bidding Data Sheet.
iv) Contract Manager with 15 years’ experience in construction works of an equivalent nature and volume including not less than 10 years as Contract Manager and;
v) Average Annual Turnover is as follows:

3. A complete set of a Bidding Document in the English Language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Fifty Thousand Naira (₦50,000.00) for each Lot. The method of payment will be by bank draft in favor of Kaduna State Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (LPRES) Project. The document will be collected by bidder’s representative upon request.

4. Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 12:00 Noon on Thursday, 4th of September 2025 and must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount stated in the table above. Late bids will be rejected.

5. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend on Thursday, 4th of September 2025, by 12:00 Noon (immediately after the close of submission), at the address below:
