INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE EXECUTION OF PROJECTS

INTRODUCTION
Tenders are invited from reputable and qualified Building/Civil Engineering Contractors, registered with the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency and Surulere Local Government, for the execution of the following projects:

1.0 PROJECTS

  • LOT 1: PROPOSED ULTRA MODERN OFFICE COMPLEX FOR SURULERE LOCAL GOVERNMENT HEADQUARTERS.
  • LOT 2: INTERLOCKING AND CONSTRUCTION OF DRAINAGE AT ALHAJI THANI STREET.
  • LOT 3: REHABILITATION OF SMALL LONDON NEIGHBOURHOOD.
  • LOT 4: REHABILITATION OF LAWANI STREET.

2.0 QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS/ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Prospective contractors must provide the following documents and information:
  • Registration with CAC Certificate of Incorporation, and Memorandum and Article of Association.
  • Three (3) years (2022, 2023, 2024) Company Tax Clearance Certification and VAT remittance, along with Lagos State Internal Revenue Personal/Tax Income.
  • Evidence of experience as a prime contractor in a similar project.
  • Company profile and organizational structure, including names and telephone numbers of key personnel.
  • Evidence of financial capability.
  • Company’s audited account for the last three (3) years (2022, 2023, 2024).
  • Evidence of three (3) years development levy (2022, 2023, 2024) for directors.
  • Evidence of registration with Lagos State Public Procurement Agency and Surulere Local Government.
  • Evidence of key personnel with relevant professional bodies.
  • A prospective tender should pay a non-refundable payment of Twenty-five thousand naira (₦25,000) to the treasury department of Surulere Local Government.

Tenders must be wax-sealed and marked in capital letters at the top left corner with the word “TENDER” and should be Address the tender to:

4.0 SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS
Please note that any tender submitted without full compliance with the criteria stipulated to this notice will not be considered and that the Council reserves the right to accept or reject and cannot be obliged to consider favourably any particular tender.
The completed tender should be submitted between 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday not later than two (2) weeks from the date of this notice.
Bid closes on Monday 29th September, 2025 and opens same day by 12 O’clock noon.
Surulere Local Government is not bound to accept or give reasons for rejection of any tender.
Any tender received other than in the name prescribed above will not be entertained or considered.
