TERMS & CONDITIONS/AUCTION RULES
1. Property is bought “AS IS” and “WHERE IS” with no refunds or returns.
2. You are advised to bid above the guide price for your bid to be valid.
3. Select the particular property and bid for it. A bidder can bid for more than 1 property.
4. The bidder is required to place his/her bid amount and lot number on a plain sheet of paper with his/her name, address and phone number accompanied with 10% of the total amount bidded in a bank draft in favour of FCMB which will both be put in an envelope and sealed.
5. The bid amount (Lot Number, bidder’s name, phone number & address of the bidder) and 10% bank draft of the bid in a sealed envelope should be submitted at FCMB Trans Amadi Branch, Mother Cat Junction, Port Harcourt.
6. Submission of bids starts by 9am on Thursday 23rd of October, 2025 to 1pm on Thursday 27th of November 2025 at FCMB Trans Amadi Branch, Mother Cat Junction, Port Harcourt.
7. On the Auction Day, Thursday 27th November 2025, bids will be opened by 1pm. The winning bidders will be required to pay the balance of 90% within 1 week of the Auction date which is on or before 4pm on the 4th of December, 2025
8. Unsuccessful bids will receive their 10% bank drafts immediately at the venue after identification
9. Failure of the winning bidder to pay the 90% balance, he/she will lose the 10% bank draft deposit.
10. Winning bidders will be responsible for the change of ownership documentation. The bank and auctioneer will not be responsible for that.
11. These rules are binding on anyone who participates in this Auction process.
